In a few words, the best way to describe Nyria's physical changes would be to say she's matured. In doing so, the colors of her multi-toned blue feathers had grown brighter, and even though they felt soft to Aoni's touch, visually, they appeared sharp and dangerous.
If he didn't know any better and hadn't been petting the fledgling, Aoni could have sworn she was covered in razor armoring or plated scales instead of feathers.
The patterns around her face gave a feeling of danger and fierceness that was betrayed by her kind eyes. Her beak, which was once shaped like a giant sunflower seed, now resembled an arrowhead, which no doubt would allow her to stab foes or prey. When paired with the extremely sharp yet small hook shape at its tip, Nyria could probably do more damage to something or someone than Aoni could with his hook blades.
Giving her wings a good pat and feeling the dense muscles hiding under the pristine white feathers, Aoni smiled warmly at Nyria while giving her plenty of attention.
Meanwhile, the fledgling in question was both happy to be the recipient of such attention but extremely embarrassed as well, the words of her Lord echoing in her head on repeat.

'Brother, I'm beautiful?' She asked, lifting her head to look Aoni in the eyes, shy and worried.
"Of course, you are, my beautiful Nyria, but you are also fierce, so if you meet any boys out there, be sure to beat them up, cause unless I approve, I won't let them near you," filling the role he'd seen not only his dad, but older brothers play for his sisters, Aoni rubbed his cheek against Nyria's earning a shy nod of approval.
'Beat them up...but that's mean...' Blinking her large emerald eyes several times, Nyria, although enjoying the affection, still questioned.
"YEP, you turn around and hit em with everything you got. Don't worry about causing any trouble because that's what I'm here for; if punching the bad guy in the nose makes him fetch his older brother, Your big brother will beat him up, and if they fetch their father, I'll send em packing back home like giant babies together." 'What about big sister? Will she beat people up, too?' Feeling warm and safe, Nyria posed a question that caused Aoni's face to scrunch up, something that didn't go unnoticed by Nyria's new and improved eyesight.
"That...I fear your big sister may be...what's the word im looking for? Uh, she's a bit simple, haha. I love Glacia dearly, but I've gotta feeling that if someone waved food in front of her face, she'd automatically think they were her best friend."
"So I will need your help in educating her. Glacia may have been summoned before you and gotten the title of Big Sister, but at the end of the day, she's still a baby." Cupping his chin and chewing on his bottom lip, Aoni spoke his mind, something he generally wouldn't do around Glacia, considering it served no purpose, but with Nyria's apparent intelligence, he felt there was nothing to fear.
"Cheeeee," letting out a chee of exasperation, was Nyria's way of expressing that she, too, felt a bit overwhelmed by how careless Glacia could be; after all, she had basically spent every waking minute after being summoned following the floof around, and had a pretty decent grasp on her simple-minded older sister.
"But it's fine; with a strong little sister like you and mighty big brother like me helping her, she will learn rather quickly." Shrugging his shoulders, Aoni stood up and scooted around his summon.
"Now, I have your reward for being a brave girl, so close your eyes, and I'll get it for you. OH, and we gotta hide it once Glacia wakes up so that she is surprised when I reward her as well."
Having full trust in Aoni, Nyria nodded obediently and not only closed her eyes but turned her entire body to face away from the direction he was walking.
Some shuffling and strange sounds later, Nyria sensed movement in front of her and stiffened out of habit before calming down and waiting for the signal from Aoni...which came a few seconds later.
"Okay, you can open your eyes; I hope you like it." Placing the nest down a few feet in front of his summon, Aoni stood awkwardly by the side, unsure of how she was going to react.
