Under that surging energy, Ron felt his physique undergoing an astonishing change.

213. Huge improvement

"What are you doing? Let me go."

Ron shouted loudly.

However, he could feel that after that energy was injected into his body, his body had indeed been greatly improved.

The statue meant no harm, but Ron still felt uneasy.

Once all that energy was injected into Ron's body, the statue disappeared.

Ron lay on the ground for a while before standing up.

He felt an immense amount of energy surging wildly outwards from his body.

"This force?"

Ron stared at his hand in surprise; he had never experienced such terrifying energy before.

He discovered that the marks on the jade pendant had disappeared.

Although there were still faint traces, no more energy was being released from within.

"Why? What exactly is going on?"

Ron was very surprised.

Does the idol appear merely to transmit energy to itself?

But he could sense that the statue was trying to convey some message to him, but why was it not making any sound?

Just as Ron was surprised, the curses suddenly arrived.

One of the curses flew swiftly towards Ron, whose hands were already coated with a layer of black mist, clearly containing a potent poison.

Moreover, he acted quite swiftly this time.

However, to Ron, his speed had become extremely slow.

Ron then easily reached out and grabbed the other man by the throat.

Before the curse could even react, he found himself in Ron's hands.

Before he could utter a sound, Ron crushed his fist.

One curse was instantly destroyed, and the remaining curses were extremely surprised and quickly retreated.

Without saying a word, Ron darted forward and grabbed one of the curses again.

The cursed figure looked on in surprise; Ron had seemed so weak before.

But now they could reach out and grab him, and he didn't even have the slightest power to resist.

"How...how did you do that?"

The curse emitted a terrified sound.

But Ron refused to answer him and once again crushed the curse into dust.

The remaining curses began to flee in panic, never expecting Ron to suddenly become so powerful.

Ron immediately gave chase and took them down one by one.

After breaking the curses, Ron immediately found the apple.

Nai Zi was still worried about Ron's safety and was planning to hide the jade pendant before going back to find Ron.

But to his surprise, Ron appeared in front of him the next second.

"Are you OK?"

Only after Naeko confirmed that Ron was alright did she finally smile.

Ron said.

“I’ve already removed those curses. Now let’s hurry back to the village and see what happened.”

The village looked no different from usual, but it was deathly silent.

Nai Zi frowned slightly; she smelled something unusual.

Ron said.

"be careful."

After he finished speaking, he quickly surveyed the surrounding area.

The entire village was deserted. Had something really happened to this village? Ron looked around.

Nai Zi nodded.

"Judging from the current situation, something has probably happened, but there doesn't seem to be any aura of curse around here."

In a patch of weeds, Ron suddenly saw a small statue that was very similar to the one he had seen before.

But this statue looks so rough, as if it was casually made based on that statue.

But the statue gave Ron an unusual feeling, and he picked it up and examined it carefully.

Nai Zi also saw the statue and asked with some confusion.

"What is this?"

Ron told Naako about how the idol had given him power.

"But why did he grant you power?"

It's clear that the villagers have great faith in this statue.

But now the statues are dilapidated, and the villagers have long since disappeared.

Could it really be caused by those curses?

Ron shook his head; he was still completely baffled.

Just then, Ron suddenly saw someone walking towards him on the mountain road not far away.

Ron quickly went to meet him and discovered that the man was the same villager he had seen in the temple.

Ron quickly went up and asked.

Where have all the villagers gone?

The man looked at Ron with some confusion, his eyes filled with unfamiliarity, as if he didn't recognize Ron at all.

"Who are you? I don't live in this village. I just came up here to gather some firewood to burn."

After saying that, he turned to leave.

Ron frowned deeply. He had a strong impression of this villager and couldn't possibly have mistaken him for someone else.

So he stopped the villager again.

"So where do you live?"

The villager looked at Ron warily and said...

Who are you? Who are you looking for?

Ron said.

"Do you remember when you invited me to your house for a night?"

The man shook his head violently.

"No, that's impossible. I've never invited anyone to sleep at my house. You must have mistaken me for someone else."

After saying that, he ran away as if fleeing.

Ron stared at his retreating figure, feeling utterly puzzled.

Who exactly was that villager from before? He turned back to look at the village.

He could vaguely remember that the room he had stayed in was in this village.

But now the room looks a bit run-down.

Naizi looked at Ron.

"Did you really mistake someone for someone else? Maybe the person who invited you to stay wasn't even a villager."

Ron also felt a chill run down his spine.

If he wasn't a villager, then who was he? Was it a curse? But there was no aura of a curse on him.

Since they couldn't find anything out there, Naeko and Ron returned to the academy.

They planned to first look up some information on this topic in the college library, and then figure out a solution.

"I never expected to encounter something so bizarre this time."

Nai Zi said to Ron while flipping through the documents.

Ron nodded; he had never imagined such a supernatural event would happen before.

Right there, Naizi pointed to one of the pages and handed it to Ron.
