Chapter 325 O'Hara
Chapter 325 O'Hara
"That's a good point, but don't waste your breath. Nico Robin will not violate the contract." Bruno interrupted.
"No more talking!" Robin interrupted Bruno and walked into the air door first.
Bruno glanced at Qi, indicating that it was time for him to go in as well.
Qi looked at Sanji and Usopp and said, "You guys go back and reunite with Luffy. I will protect Robin."
"What do you have to protect yourself?" Bruno couldn't help but sneer, perhaps to avenge those two incidents.
"You talk too much." Qi glanced at Bruno, turned and entered the air door.
Bruno frowned and looked at Qi's leaving back, feeling a little unhappy. His reaction was different from what he expected.
Finally, as Bruno was about to leave, he looked at Sanji and Usopp who were glaring at him angrily. He didn't know if he wanted to see the despair on their faces that he didn't see on the Dragon Son's face, or what, he couldn't help but say, "Do you know why Nico Robin didn't want to go with you?"
"What?" Sanji looked at Bruno in confusion.
"Once upon a time, an island was reduced to ashes by the Navy's Demon Slayer Order! The only survivor was young Nico Robin. The Demon Slayer Order was an indelible nightmare for her, a horrifying memory deeply ingrained in her young heart. She certainly didn't want her companions to suffer the same fate, so she completely gave up resistance!"
"Are you guys taking advantage of her mentality?!" Sanji rushed towards him angrily. "You are so despicable!!"
Bruno looked at the shock and anger on their faces and said with some pleasure, "You have nothing to be shocked about. After all, your deputy captain has already experienced this, right?"
"Asshole!!" Sanji kicked Bruno's door angrily.
"Everything we do is for justice!" Bruno said and closed the air door, making Sanji's attack miss.
"Damn it!" Sanji pounded the ground in frustration.
"Sanji..." Usopp swallowed his saliva. He seemed to have heard some incredible news...
……
When Qi walked back to the carriage, Robin seemed to have communicated with Franky. They both sat in silence, but Robin still sat alone in the window seat, while Franky sat on the other side.
Perhaps they felt it was unnecessary or disdainful, but even after everything that happened, CP9 still did not stay in the same carriage with them to keep an eye on them.
Qi handed the hot water in his hand to Robin and sat down next to her.
"You really look relaxed, not worried at all." Franky couldn't help but complain when he saw Qi's behavior. It was obvious that this guy and his companions were about to be tied up in the enemy's base camp, but he could still leisurely go to get hot water.
"Thank you." Robin took the hot water from Qi and began to look at the hot water in her hand silently. After a few minutes of silence, she said softly, "I think I need to tell you something about my past and the reason why the World Government is hunting me down. I will let you know everything."
Qi turned to look at Robin and noticed the uneasiness on her face "It's okay, I will listen to what you want to say. It's okay if you don't want to say it, I don't want you to be sad."
Robin clenched the hot water in her hand. Qi needed to know, not only because she hoped Qi would leave, but also because she was not sure if she would have the chance to tell Qi the truth about O'Hara in the future.
"I come from an island called O'Hara in the Western Sea." Robin thought for a few minutes and said, "It has the largest library in the world, and a small number of people are archaeologists."
"There's a part of history that the World Government doesn't want anyone to know. That part is called the Void Century, also known as the Blank Hundred Years. The only relic from this period is a stone with ancient writing on it, called the Historical Text."
"Like the ones in Alabasta and Sky Island?" Qi said.
"Yes, some of these historical texts explain what happened during the Void Century, but others... they give the location of ancient weapons that could destroy the world."
"The government had banned the reading of historical texts, but O'Hara's archaeologists didn't care and instead studied in secret."
"When I was eight, the government found out, and they decided…" Robin choked, but steadied himself, taking a sip of water to hide it.
Qi squeezed Robin's arm soothingly.
Feeling the warmth on her arm, Robin closed her eyes and continued calmly, as if she wasn't talking about the death of someone she loved. She wasn't sure where she found the courage to say it.
"They launched a demon-killing order, which completely destroyed O'Hara. Even the single survivor, the rescue ship, couldn't escape, even though they had ensured there were no archaeologists hiding."
"I'm telling you all this to tell you how dangerous my existence is. The World Government, the Navy, pirates, and bounty hunters will always come after hearing the news, just like the World Government this time. They will stop at nothing to catch me."
"Then let them come. Isn't the World Government already doing it?" Qi held Robin's arm tightly. "No matter who it is, we will protect you. After this incident is resolved, I hope you can trust us. We will prove to you that we can protect you!"
"I'm telling you all this in the hope that you can stop them from coming, I hope you can leave me, I don't want you to become the target of the World Government!" Robin's lips trembled, her eyes flickered, and real tears slid down her cheeks. She thought Qi would leave her after knowing all this, but he never hesitated and firmly supported her.
"You promised me that I would face this with you, didn't you?" Qi looked at Robin and said, "And no matter what, this isn't your fault. It's the World Government's fault. We are pirates, and the World Government is our enemy."
"I don't want to hurt you." Robin said with his head down.
"You weren't the one who hurt them. The government said your very existence is a sin." Hearing Robin's words, Franky said in an unusually serious tone, "But no matter what kind of weapon it is, its very existence isn't a sin!!"
Robin turned to look at Franky, she could sense that he meant what he said.
"Brother Qi, why did you come here too?" Franky turned and looked at Qi and asked.
"What a weird name..." Qi complained, but still answered Franky's words, "Aren't they threatening Robin with the Demon Slayer Order? But they can't release the Demon Slayer Order on their own island!"
"So you plan to fight them on Judicial Island and then rescue Robin?" Franky reacted immediately and asked in shock.
Robin looked at Qi in shock "You think so?"
"Yes, Luffy is now catching up with us with his men." Qi looked at Robin and said with a smile, "You don't think Luffy will give up, do you? The battle on Judicial Island is necessary, which is why I didn't take action on the train."
"That would only put them in more danger..." Robin was incredulous.
"You should have expected this. I didn't say anything, but they still caught up with us." Qi distanced himself from the matter. "So Robin, stop saying such discouraging words. You have to believe in Luffy. He will come and take you back."
"When your friends come to see you again this time, just explain it clearly and go back with them." Franky followed, and then began to say sadly, "I am really touched by your friendship!" Oh~ This time his hands were handcuffed and he couldn't play the piano.
