Chapter 507 Punk Hassad
Chapter 507 Punk Hassad
Punk Hazard Burning Earth
"What is this thing?" Ace looked at the huge red dragon blocking their way with impatience. They had successfully reached the burning island called Punk Hazard by using the cloud path created by Nami, but they encountered this thing blocking their way not long after arriving on the island.
Usopp stared in horror at the tall creature before him. Wasn't this supposed to be the animal he'd imagined?!
"Surely such a thing couldn't possibly exist in the world!" Zoro stared at the dragon in disbelief.
"But only that thing can look like this!" Robin was also somewhat shocked as she looked at the animal in front of her.
"There's something like this?" Luffy exclaimed, looking at the red dragon in front of him, while putting his thumb in his mouth. He didn't have time to play with this guy right now.
"Who is coming!"
"Huh!?" Luffy stared in shock at the dragon before him. "The dragon spoke?"
"Never mind him, let's take care of him first!" Ace said impatiently, raising his hand to quickly eliminate the guy blocking his way.
"Wow, it's breathing fire!"
The group quickly dodged, and Ace transformed into flames and soared into the sky, ready to finish it off. However, he noticed the feet on the giant dragon's head and landed on it with some confusion. "Hey, Luffy, there are feet on this dragon's head."
"Really!?" Luffy immediately stretched out his hand and sprang onto the dragon's body, staring in shock at the pair of feet behind its head, exclaiming, "It's true, there are a pair of feet stuck on it!"
"Ignore him!" Zoro muttered, biting his wado Ichimonji, not wanting to waste time on this guy. "Usopp."
"Understood, Killer Move: Green Star Trampoline!!"
After noticing Zoro's actions, Luffy punched the dragon in the neck, knocking it off the sky. Ace then flipped over and jumped off the dragon's head, allowing Zoro, who was jumping from the plant trampoline, to attack.
"One-Sword Style: Iai!" Zoro leaped up and swung his sword at the neck of the descending dragon. "Death - Lion's Song!"
After the red dragon's head fell to the ground, Luffy immediately rushed over to examine the strange legs, trying to pull the legs wearing wooden clogs off the back of the dragon's head. "How strange!"
Ace looked at the red dragon's torso on the ground with some impatience, frowning at the strange legs that Luffy was pulling out. He couldn't wait to end it all, so the moment the thing stood up and prepared to run away, he rushed over and stepped on the leg that was about to run away, controlling it in place. If it hadn't aroused Luffy's curiosity, he really wanted to burn it.
When Luffy accidentally stuck those strange, talking legs to his back, Ace thoroughly roasted the already dead dragon. He tacitly approved of the excitement Luffy found in the dragon, even though he knew they needed to move on.
But ever since they learned that Lucci was missing, they had been on edge, especially when they realized that Lucci was in danger. The anxiety was almost suffocating, so it's understandable that Luffy could find excitement in this dragon, even though he wanted to return to his brother as soon as possible.
……
"Why are there snow-capped mountains?!" Usopp stared incredulously at the desolate snow-capped mountains across the lake.
"Luffy, is the Vivre Card still pointing ahead?" Ace asked Luffy, who was standing next to him.
"Hmm." Luffy looked at the Vivre Paper in his hand, and his tense shoulders relaxed. Lucci's Vivre Paper had stopped burning and had begun to recover, which meant that Lucci was alright.
"It seems Lucci is in that snowy mountain area over there," Robin said, looking at the snowy mountains ahead. "There should be some kind of buildings or something there."
"This island is strange too. We have an active volcano here that's so hot, but across the lake there are snow-capped mountains. It's really strange," Usopp muttered, thinking of what the person calling for help on the Den Den Mushi said. "Luffy seemed to have said something about how cold it was in that emergency call he answered."
"Doesn't that mean Lucci, that murderous samurai, and the victim are all on the other side?!" Usopp exclaimed anxiously, "Won't Lucci be in danger?!"
"No, the Life Paper has already started to recover!" Luffy retorted, putting his straw hat back on.
"Let's hurry up and figure out how to cross the lake," Zoro said, looking at the snow-capped mountains opposite.
“We have three ability users here,” Robin said, looking down at the lake. “Even if each of us carries one across, we can’t swim.”
"Robin! What are you thinking?" Usopp looked at Robin in disbelief, only to see she was serious. "How is this possible!?"
“Don’t worry about the cold,” Ace added with a smile. Since he learned that Lucci’s Vivre Paper had begun to recover, his tense mood had also relaxed. “So feel free to carry us across.”
"Is this a cold problem?!" Usopp shouted at Ace incredulously.
"Can Zoro carry two?" Luffy grinned and looked at Zoro.
Zoro stroked his chin, thought about it seriously for a moment, and then nodded earnestly, "Okay!"
"You're really thinking about it?!" Usopp retorted. "I don't know what you guys are thinking. You still have to rely on me!"
Just as Usopp was about to launch the banana boat, his Den Den Mushi suddenly rang.
"They're all gone? You're the only one left?" Usopp exclaimed incredulously at the Den Den Mushi in his hand after hearing Brook's words.
"Hohoho, that's right, I was so scared I was practically terrified!"
"Are you surrounded by snow and ice right now?" Robin asked.
"That's right, how did Miss Robin know?"
“We’re on this side of the lake now, so everyone’s still on this island,” Robin said, looking at the snow and ice on the other side. “They just got to the other side of the island before us because they were kidnapped.”
"Who robbed you?" Ace asked.
“I don’t know, I was also knocked out, but they were wearing something like gas masks,” Brooke explained calmly.
"So they were probably knocked out by some kind of hypnotic gas," Robin guessed. "Then those people sailed the boat to the other side of the island."
"Are there any buildings around?" Robin asked.
“There’s a very magnificent building! It doesn’t look like a restaurant,” Brooke explained, looking at the frozen building in the distance.
"That should be it," Robin nodded.
"Brook, we'll cross the lake now, we'll be there soon," Luffy said to the Den Den Mushi.
"Ultimate move: Green Star, Boat-shaped Banana!" Usopp put away his Den Den Mushi and fired his slingshot at the lake. "Fan Grass!!"
"Wow, a boat has appeared!" Luffy excitedly jumped into the banana boat.
"Impressive, Usopp!" Zoro praised with a smile.
“Not bad, surprisingly useful,” Ace said, raising an eyebrow.
“This fan-shaped grass can be used as a paddle,” Usopp said, breaking off a fan-shaped grass growing nearby.
"Alright, let's set sail!" Luffy shouted excitedly, taking a bite of the meat in his hand. "We're coming right away!"
"stop!!"
