Chapter 522 Give him a good beating

"It's poison gas! It'll spray poison gas if you cut me!" Brook cried out in panic. "My eyes! Oh no, I've lost my eyes! What am I going to do, Zoro brother?"

"Didn't I already try it?" Zoro looked speechlessly at Brook, who went to cut the purple slime again.

"I thought you were just having bad luck, oh ho ho ho!"

"The enemy is just jelly anyway, you might as well eat it and digest it," Zoro said to Brook with his arms crossed and a straight face.

"No way! Don't keep saying such bullying things!" Brooke shouted angrily. "I'm 70 years older than you!"

"Ahhhhh!!"

Brooke immediately turned to look at the samurai who had suddenly let out a scream, puzzled. "Hey, what's wrong with you?"

"No...it doesn't hurt!"

"He doesn't look like he's not in pain at all," Brook exclaimed in shock as he watched Kin'emon writhe on the ground, his face contorted in agony.

Zoro frowned as he watched the lake surface gradually being covered by poison, but he could feel Sanji dragging the samurai's body upwards. Sure enough, the next second he burst out of the water. "Oh, found it."

“Sanji, brother!!” Brook shouted excitedly.

"Thank you so much!" Kin'emon looked at Sanji, who was carrying his body out of the lake, and was moved to tears.

After throwing the samurai's body back to the samurai, Sanji immediately hugged Nami's body and trembled.

"Brother Samurai, you're so tall! About the same height as me!" Brook exclaimed, gesturing with his hand as he looked at Kin'emon, who had assembled his body.

"My name is Kin'emon! I was born in Kuri, Wano Country!" Kin'emon introduced himself.

Sanji, with a rock on his head and arms wrapped around himself, was shivering. He didn't care what this guy's name was. "Hurry up... I'm freezing to death!"

"Excuse me." After conjuring up warm clothes for Sanji, Kin'emon looked at Sanji, who was still squatting on the ground shivering, and asked, "May I ask your name, Master Curly-browed Hero?"

"What kind of hero are you? You've only just gotten together... and you're already spouting nonsense?" After a moment of calm, Sanji rushed forward and pointed at Kin'emon, shouting, "Have you forgotten all those unreasonable things you said to me when you were unable to move?"

"I will never forget!!" Kin'emon knelt down directly before Sanji.

Brook and Zoro exchanged a glance, looking at Kin'emon with some confusion as he repeatedly kowtowed to Sanji in gratitude.

Sanji stared in shock at Kin'emon kneeling before grabbing his head angrily and yelling, "Don't try that on me! Idiot! Raise your head! Don't you know a man's knees are worth more than gold?"

"Sanji, excuse me," Brook said cautiously, watching the purple slime gradually swarming around them. "It seems we've gotten ourselves into big trouble!"

"Didn't I tell you guys to figure out how to deal with this thing?!" Sanji glared angrily at Zoro and Brook.

"That's why things have turned out this way, because we couldn't think of a solution," Zoro said casually, completely ignoring Sanji's anger.

“That’s right…” Brooke chimed in.

"Stop making excuses, you two good-for-nothings!!" Sanji shouted angrily.

"I am Kin'emon, known as Foxfire. This sword in my hand can burn enemies to ashes!" Kin'emon drew his sword. "Perhaps it can ignite that strange object."

Zoro stared intently at the slash that had cleaved the flames, a glint of interest in his eyes. "Did it cleave the flames?" He called out to Kin'emon, who was about to leave, and smiled with amusement. "I've suddenly become interested in samurai battles. Count me in for rescuing my son!"

Abandoned Research Institute Back Door

Looking at the gigantic children who had fallen asleep again, Usopp said worriedly, "The Sleeping Star is almost losing its effect."

"If that doesn't work, give them sedatives," Qi said, looking at the giant children.

“I already know how the pill works.” Chopper looked at the paper in his hand with delight, and replied to Qi’s words, “We can inject them with the sedative now.”

"Someone's coming," Ace warned.

“Oh, finally here.” Qi stood up and leaned against a corner, waiting for his prey.

"Who is it?" Ace looked at Qi with suspicion.

“Caesar, that master,” Qi replied.

"Is that the master?" Nami and Usopp immediately became alert.

"You're the master!?" Chopper glared angrily at the person who appeared at the cave entrance. "You're the one who used these children for experiments!"

"Didn't Luffy run into you?" Nami asked, frowning. She wasn't worried about their current situation, since they had two monsters here. She was just wondering why Luffy, who was looking for Caesar, hadn't run into him.

"Hehehe! You people are so cruel! Why did you bring the children out? Didn't you see how much they're suffering?" Caesar grinned, opening the bag in his hand smugly. "Children, here's some candy you want..." Before Caesar could finish speaking, a figure with a huge, fiery fist rushed towards him. Caesar immediately cried out in panic, "Void World!"

Usopp watched in horror as the giant child struggled to wake up because of Caesar's words. His tricks were no longer working. "Don't wake up!"

"Fire Fist!" Ace didn't want to hear that guy's annoying laughter anymore. He just looked at the flames, which avoided the area around Caesar, with some confusion. The next second, the feeling of suffocation made Ace dizzy, and the flames on his body went out. Even so, he still swung his fist, which was covered in Armament Haki, at Caesar without hesitation. The powerful attack hit Caesar's abdomen and sent him flying.

As soon as Caesar moved away, Ace was able to breathe again instantly, taking a few deep breaths. "This guy can actually extract oxygen."

As Caesar was knocked away by Ace, Qi caught up with him and punched him in the face with his Armament Haki-infused fist the instant he fell. Ignoring Caesar's piercing scream, Qi grabbed Caesar's neck with his other Armament Haki-infused hand and continued beating him, yelling, "Who do you think you're calling your subordinate?! You dare threaten me?!"

When Ace arrived, this was what he saw: the guy named Caesar had been slammed into a large crater by Qi, his face bruised and swollen. Ace chuckled and twitched his lips. "You stayed here just to beat him up?"

“That’s one of the reasons. Even if we can’t kill him, we should at least give him a good beating!” Qi stopped swinging his fist as he looked at Caesar, who was screaming and begging for mercy. “Hand over the stuff, or I have a doctor here.” With that, Qi raised his fist threateningly.

"Wait!" Caesar shouted in a panic, ignoring the excruciating pain from the beating, and quickly pulled out the only heart he had.

"What is this?" Ace frowned as he looked at what Caesar had taken out; it looked like a completely cut-out heart.

“The heart,” Qi explained, reaching out to take the heart and frowning as he felt the frequency of its beating in his hand.
