Chapter 330 - 329: Physicality.
Shock. Fear. Confusion.Chu Su and Ariya's minds were blank, confusion in every corner. The one they were looking for?
What did Void mean?
There was only one person they had been searching for, the one who had destroyed their world.
But how did he know they were looking for him? They had only told their master… and now he was the one?
"You…" Chu Su spoke, but that was it. Nothing else came out of her mouth. She was too stunned. How was this possible?
"I am the one you two are looking for, destroyer of your world," Void said, his grin widening.
This confirmed it. Void knew they were searching for him and he was the one. But Chu Su frowned.
What she saw… it wasn't like this.
The same with Ariya, the silhouette in her mind was different.
As it turned out, their world had planted images of the destroyer in their minds, based on preparation and prophecy, and currently, Void didn't match them.
"Ah yes, let me refresh your memory," Void said, his grin widening as he changed.
His size remained human-like, as always, but he grew horns, dark wings tipped with feathers so sharp they could crack the fifth layer of space just by existing.
His tail slithered left and right as time and space warped around it.
His eyes burned crimson, and the fifth layer of space groaned beneath him.
But this wasn't the only change…
Ariya and Chu Su both wept.
It was him. Void was truly the one who had erased their worlds.
"Now, do you remember? Have I jogged your memory, Ariya and Chu Su?" Void asked, his voice cold and demonic.
This sealed the deal, he even knew their names.
They weren't dreaming. They had met the killer, the one solely responsible for destroying their worlds, their families, their lives.
"Where… where is my master… my junior brother? What did you do with them?" Chu Su's eyes glowed as the fifth layer of space shook.
High-level Rank 3 aura was released as her main law , sword intent manifested.
The chime of swords resonated as laws materialized, transforming into countless sharp swords all pointing at Void, ready to strike.
Void relished the feeling of being back in his demon form. No injuries, full power, ready to go.
"Oh… them? Maybe dead, maybe alive. Either way, you will be joining them soon."
Boom.
Immediately, time seemed to stop as a huge orange hue filled every corner of the fifth layer of space.
An ancient, ferocious aura was released.
(Ding: The Ancient Warlock Bloodline has been discovered.)
Void paused. This bloodline was linked with a terrifying race, one strong enough to challenge the Primordial Demon in physicality.
Ariya had changed.
A golden aura was released as her pupils turned gold.
At one point, terrifying ancient armor covered her body, and a great longsword appeared in her hand.
Marks surfaced of ancient creatures from the desolate era.
With each mark appearing, her aura doubled and doubled again.
It reached a point where Chu Su's sword intent weakened as she backed away, her mouth agape.
She didn't know who Ariya was anymore.
This aura was terrifying… she had awakened something that could potentially change her life, something that had always been hidden.
"Worthy of being my enemy," was all void said.
Void's eyes showed bloodlust.
This wasn't just a realm battle it was a bloodline battle too.
His Primordial Demon body was ready for battle, challenged by Ariya's awakened bloodline.
"Hahaha… too bad your realm is insufficient. I could easily kill you, but let's leave realms aside… how about just physical prowess?" Void muttered, his eyes filled with suppressed bloodlust as his realm disappeared.
Void stood out, his body burning with fire, dark scales shimmering.
Infinity symbols on his chest glowed.
He stretched out his arm and pulled apart space.
Nameless appeared, and immediately all holes were closed.
Just its divinity and sharpness were on display.
Sensing its master's excitement, Nameless chimed.
Chu Su was stunned.
Void's overwhelming aura seemed to disappear, as if he had no realm at all. His state was very similar to Ariya's.
"Wait… are they going to battle without using their realms? I know Ariya's awakening sealed her power, but did he just do the same?" A smile spread across Chu Su's face.
Wasn't this the perfect time to destroy Void?
Get her revenge?
No… no. Destroying Void was too little, too fast. She would defeat him, capture his soul, and torment him forever but just as her thoughts were flying, her mouth hung open.
She watched as Void ripped apart the fifth layer of space like it was nothing.
She gulped. Even she couldn't easily damage the fifth layer of space, much less with just physical strength alone.
"Even with no realm, he's still as strong as the peak of Rank 3… shit!" Chu Su clenched her fists.
No… no, she wouldn't be able to get her revenge. No. This couldn't happen. How… how…
A ruin a few kilometers in diameter floated around, and Void opened his palm.
From afar, it appeared under their feet as he placed his palm on it, reinforcing it.
"You will pay for what you did, to me, to Chu Su, and to all creatures whose lives you have ruined," Ariya finally spoke. Perhaps her voice was fractured, but it resonated like multiple layers of voices were stacked together and speaking at once.
It sounded ancient.
Ariya landed on the newly created area by Void, facing him.
Chu Su, across from her, was in despair. She couldn't even fight Void at this point, but Ariya's new aura dominated her perception.
At one point, an arena a few kilometers in diameter was created.
Both Void and Ariya stood opposite each other.
The scene was epic, breathtaking in fact.
Both looked formidable, especially Ariya, who resembled a female warrior.
She wielded a golden longsword nearly 2.5 meters long, standing at 1.7 meters tall.
Across her, Void stood 2 meters tall in his demon form, wielding a greatsword 2.3 meters long.
Both wielders of greatswords. Both relying solely on their physical prowess. No trace of origin, laws, or realms just terrifying raw strength.
