Chapter 13 Dispicable people 2
Chapter 13 Dispicable people 2
"Hmm," walking down the streets of the outskirts, Guilliman held up two cards in front of him. One was made from a magical metallic alloy that seemed to gleam as the rays of the moon fell upon it, and the other, despite seemingly being made from plastic, was actually of a very high quality.
The first one was his Slayer license, and the other was Barthold's contact card.
Now that he had become a Slayer, it would be much harder to see him, so he gave him his personal contact card. However, Guilliman had no idea how this was supposed to work.
"Ehhhn, whatever." Flipping both cards in the air, Guilliman proceeded to place them in his clothes before stopping before a stone wall.
Up we go.
Cleaning off his wet hands, he placed one hand on the crooked wall, and his opposite leg propelled him upward. He was climbing.
A few seconds later, he sneaked through a small window and fell into his bed. He had snuck back home.
Who would have thought the Slayer test would take this long? It was already nighttime, and he was sure his folks would be home by now. It was better they didn't know he was here until it was morning.
At least then he could say he fell asleep.
The sound of two metal blades quietly sounded as Guilliman pulled out the two blades on his back and put them under his bed gently, trying to make the least amount of noise humanly possible.
He had gotten these ones from the Black Rabbit Knight. They were much stronger than the average blade, as they were able to destroy his grade one dagger with a single swing.
Seeing that he was not able to get a soul beast nor a beast echo from the rabbit, this was the next best thing, and he treasured it a lot.
Falling back into his bed, Guilliman slowly closed his eyes as the tiredness from the day melted from his body into the bed...
"Hmp!!" Abruptly removing his hand from Guilliman's neck, the old man pulled out a short carving dagger and pointed it at him.
"You little shit, next time you leave this place empty, I'll cut your legs off!!" he barked as he swung his dagger through the air, making a sort of arc.
He couldn't kill him—that was a fact—but he could punish him. At least stop him from going out.
Murmuring as he slowly walked out the door to solve the vacancy problem, Yasper shot a glance at Guilliman's mother. He was starting to despise this b*tch for bringing this disaster of a child to him.
—Boom.
He slammed the door shut and left the room quiet.
As he did so, the eyes in the room moved from the door and focused solely on Guilliman's figure on the ground.
"I regret giving birth to someone like you. It was my mistake in the past. Now I'm trying to fix it by grooming the better versions of you, so don't ruin it," the woman with golden teeth pointed directly at Guilliman as she spat out her heart.
She truly hated Guilliman, but the laws did not allow her to throw him on the streets. If not, she would have without a second thought.
"Your brothers will resume their training in the Crystal Training Center by tomorrow. From then on, you're not allowed to leave this place.
"You will stay indoors and make sure things like this don't repeat themselves. If not, I won't think about the law...I'll kill you myself!!" Swinging her hands angrily, she spoke, filled with rage.
In the future, her son Carlson and his siblings would become battle Slayers and pull their family out of poverty, and Guilliman would finally be out of her hair. She couldn't wait for it.
Unknown to her, this wish of the future was already coming true right now, but in the place of Guilliman instead.
