"AH, GLACIA WHAT THE HELL!" Covering his nose and fighting back the tears automatically associated with getting hit in the appendage, Aoni shot upright and noticed Glacia snickering after having retreated to the far side of the bed.

Nyria, on the other hand, looked horrified at what her sister had just done, and seeing the lad's reaction, she quickly shot to her perch and nuzzled him as if saying she was sorry.

Although she was hungry and had woken up not long after Glacia, the fledgling never expected her sister to smack the shit out of their Lord and couldn't help but feel like it was her fault.

So, since she didn't want him mad at her due to her fear of being abandoned, Nyria went to apologize.

"It's ok, Nyria, you did nothing wrong; I guess you were hungry, and that little glutton who only thinks with her belly probably claimed she had a proven method of waking me up," shooting a glare at Glacia as she bounced off the bed and ran into the main room of the cave, no doubt more concerned about breakfast then being punished, Aoni gently caressed Nyria's head and gave her a few under beak scratches.

He had felt the light pecks while asleep, but since he didn't want to get up just yet, Aoni had ignored them at first, but that was a fatal mistake around Glacia, who was KNOWN for pulling stunts when hungry.

Heaving a sigh, the lad kicked off his soft chimera hide blanket and began his day, which generally started with cooking up one of the MREs for Glacia.@@@@

Contrary to his initial bad habit of skipping the "most important meal of the day," he'd recently realized his body seemed to require a lot more calories, a direct indication of how hard he'd been working himself.

Well, that or the fact he had grown to such an extent that only two meals weren't enough to sustain his body.

After the meals were done, it was "Playtime for the kids," so Glacia, with Nyria on her back, ran out of the cave to retrieve her shovel and start clearing all the snow that had accumulated overnight on the path down the mountain.

With them on the move doing their own thing, Aoni set about his morning chores, which weren't that different from his evening ones, checking each part of the platform and observing that everything seemed to be in order, with the chests and crafting station in good condition, the lad made his way to the Hides and began processing them.

Salt needed to be changed, pelts required to be worked, and, of course, more brain juice had to be applied. Overall, it was a task that only took him around 30 minutes to complete.

The next thing he did was his morning exercises, which consisted of basic workouts and, most importantly, some sword training. Since the morning snow clearing generally took the longest, Aoni would be left alone for a couple of hours, and he would try to use that time as effectively as possible, working up a sweat and trying to wake up.

Roughly an hour and a half later, and with his morning chores finished, Aoni made his way to the campfire and sat down, wishing he had some coffee or something to wake up with.

As quite the caffeine addict back on Terra, the mornings since arriving in Genovia were pretty rough on him, considering since he was around 11 years old, he would start each day by chugging down half to a full pot of coffee, yet here, there wasn't any to be had.

'So what's on the agenda today?' yawning loudly as he stoked the fire with a stick, Aoni contemplated what to do.

'In all honesty, I need to make a new chest and try repairing the damaged equipment from yesterday's accident, but that would only eat up around an hour or two max.' Scratching his cheek and glancing at the empty space where the wooden chest formerly rested, Aoni sighed before picking up on the sounds of his Summons, happily having fun.

'Maybe it's time for that; my AN told me they would only feel some slight discomfort, and not actual pain, like what I go through, so perhaps I should start the next phase of Glacia's training.'
