Arthur looked at the description of the sword silently. It was still quite the odd item description after seeing it for the second time. The sheer amount of mystery behind this sword was simply astonishing. Everything about it was layered with incomprehensible secrets and yet, it only made the sword even more terrifying.
'The fact it has four different modes. The first one is ice-related and the sword's name has the word 'Elemental' in it. Does that mean...' Arthur squinted his eyes.
It didn't take him long to figure out that the rest of the modes must also be related to other elements in nature. That idea alone made Arthur's face freeze for a second before his lips stretched into a wide smile.
"Four different mods... The sheer versatility I could have with this sword. I will be basically invincible!" He exclaimed. To have a sword that can manipulate several different elements was a huge advantage that no other weapon could do.
So, in the end, Arthur decided to stop when the alarm hit the 30-minute mark and finally left the training room.
"I have learned more about it for now. I will use it more in real fights."
Arthur's potential was still as high as the sky and this sword proved to be the perfect fit for him. It gave him room to grow along with it rather than eventually overpowering the sword and needing a new one.
Unlike Sanguine Blade which was quite the strong starter weapon, it eventually reached its capacity and beyond that, it was simply unusable. All of that fueled Arthur's decision to take this sword very seriously, perhaps even more than Sanguine Blade ever was.
As he was like that, contemplating his next steps, Arthur found himself outside the training center. The weather was as cold as ever and the night was rather calm. Taking a deep breath, Arthur started walking down the street.
However, mid-way, he suddenly heard a notification ring in his head. Stopping, he opened his notification box, only for his eyes to widen a little.
There, in the corner, he saw a message from a very familiar person. It was none other than Isla.
Arthur felt his heart rate increase a little before he slowly shook his head and opened the message. It was, as usual, one single sentence.
Isla: "Where are you? Can we talk?"
Arthur read the two questions silently. His expression was blank so no one could even read what was going through his head. A few seconds passed as people passed by Arthur, noticing that he was oddly standing there, staring into the nothingness.
Eventually, Arthur snapped out of his daze as he closed his eyes. He exhaled a wavery breath before he moved his hand and tapped the cancel button. Then, he started walking again. Quickly, he vanished into the darkness of the city.

Meanwhile, back at the headquarters, Isla looked at the message window for a few seconds. Noticing that Arthur viewed the message, her eyes widened slightly as she readied herself for a response.
In a very rare case, Isla truly felt nervous at that moment. She had been through enormously stressful things in her life and yet this particular moment felt far harder on her than anything else.
Yet, as if fate was loathing her, the response... Never came.
A//N: Don't forget to give the book some golden tickets for good luck! :3
