Chapter 39 Shackles Realm

"Bang!", Chu Wuyao punched another Blood Slave in the head, crushing its skull and watched its headless body fall to the ground.

Glancing around, Chu Wuyao found that there was no longer any Blood Slave standing around her and only the corpses at the ground remained as evidence of the previous fight.

She was about to go and relieve some pressure off Chu Xu and Xia Qianyue who were still fighting, but she felt a murderous intention locking onto her body.

Feeling a heat coming towards her face, she instinctively threw herself to the ground and rolled to the side, trying to dodge the attack.

"Boom!"

A red, blazing spear brushed against her waist and fell to the ground, making a deep depression on the stone floor.

Chu Wuyao understood that if she had not been fast enough just now, this flaming spear would have nailed her to the ground.

Turning her head towards the direction from which the spear came from, Chu Wuyao saw that a new Blood Slave had stepped out of the red pool and appeared in front of her.

Immediately, Chu Wuyao recognized him.

It was the rough man, the so-called Big Brother Yi, who she had met earlier this morning.

It's just that in the past few hours, the rough man had turned into a puppet.

Her eyes glowed with a strange red light, as she used the Illusion Eyes skill to try and see through the spears' trajectory.

Then, she stepped on the ground and her figure flashed, shuttling through the incoming spears.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The flaming spears failed to hit their target and fell on the ground, making a screeching noise that resounded through the underground room.

Before Chu Wuyao could catch her breath, the rough man had appeared in front of her and clenched his fist, punching her on the face.

Facing this attack, Chu Wuyao had the illusion that she was not facing a fist, but a blazing fireball that wanted to engulf her very being.

Fortunately, she was able to snap out of that feeling in an instant and she raised her hand, meeting the punch in the air.

"Bang!"

Their two fists collided and the air around them shook, as they were both forced to take a few steps back to relieve the shock surging in their bodies.

Even so, it was fairly clear that Chu Wuyao had a slight advantage in their confrontation.

Feeling the power in her opponents fist that was almost equally to hers, Chu Wuyao wasn't worried, but instead became very happy.

With the rough man's death, the intense fight that had just taken place completely stopped.

Only the faint sound of breathing could be heard in the room.

Just as the three of them felt that the danger had passed, the blood pool moved once again.

"Damn! What's wrong with this pool?", Chu Wuyao couldn't help but curse out loud.

Every time she was about to relax, something would pop out of this damn red pool and attack her.

This thing was clearly targeting her!

Unfortunately, Chu Wuyao's complaints had no effect and the changes in the blood pool never stopped.

The pool's surface shook and then, the amount of liquid inside the pool decreased at an extremely fast speed.

It's as if there was a giant whale in the pool, swallowing the blood with all its strength.

In just a few seconds, the blood in the pool had completely disappeared, allowing Chu Wuyao and her companions to see the creature responsible for this change.

At the bottom of the pool, a 5 meter tall humanoid giant was sitting cross legged, with two horns at each side of his temple.

The giant's body was covered in a weird black film, making it look as if he was wearing a majestic, black armor.

All the blood in the pool entered the giant's open mouth and flowed into his body.

Finally, when the very last drop of blood disappeared, a giant lock appeared on the giant's forehead.

The lock seemed to be real yet illusory, true yet false.

"Crack... Crack... Bang!"

A low cracking sound came out of this lock, before it completely exploded and shattered into tiny pieces.

The moment this happened, the giant seemed to have broken through a certain barrier and his aura surged violently, causing the stone floor to crack just with his aura.

Then,, the giant's eyes opened, revealing a pair of chaotic, black eyes that swept over Chu Wuyao and her companions.

The moment this gaze fell on her body, Chu Wuyao had the illusion that she had fallen into an icy cave.

Her body trembled unconsciously and her eyes became blurry, making it difficult to see.

If it had not been for the various experience she had had since her transmigration, Chu Wuyao was sure that she would have fallen unconscious by now.
