The First Sun King flew in the air, rushing towards the place where the volcano was erupting.@@@@

Behind his back, a pair of large silver wings made out of Divine Power flapped from time to time and increased his flight speed.

This sight should have been quite strange, as Magicians preferred casting spells to fly in the air.

Since Holy Realm practitioners had trained both as Warriors and Magicians, they would also cast spells to fly and almost no one would choose to shape wings with their Divine Power.

However, the First Sun King was one of the few Holy Realm practitioners who did.

This was because, unlike most Holy Realm practitioners, his main profession was not a Magician, but a Warrior.

Even though he had reached the Holy Realm and could cast spells easily, the First Sun King didn't rely on spells to fight or fly but relied on his physical strength and his own Divine Power.

But they were still more than enough to interfere with his actions and stop him from getting closer to the volcano.

When he looked at this scene, an evil smile appeared on the Demon Pope's face, but when the First Sun King arrived, his expression changed and he tried to take a step back.

Seeing this, the wings behind the First Sun King flapped and his figure disappeared, before flashing right in front of the Demon Pope.

"Boom!"

After he pushed back the First Sun King, he urged the Divine Power to increase his speed and he rushed away.

However, the First Sun King didn't seem willing to let him leave so easily.

"Holy Pope, let's work together to deal with him!", he shouted at the Holy Pope and his figure flashed in front of the Demon Pope, blocking his escape route.

At the same time, the Holy Pope appeared beside him, seemingly agreeing with his suggestion.

When the First Sun King saw this, he became filled with confidence.

"Demon Pope, if you're willing to surrender and seal your strength, we can spare your life.", the First Sun King said and it was clear that he was unwilling to fight to the death with him.

After all, even though it was likely that the two of them would kill the Demon Pope if they worked together, they were bound to suffer serious injuries while doing so.

"My friend, what's the point of communicating with him? Let's just work together and kill him!", the First Sun King heard the Holy Pope say.

Immediately, the First Sun King understood his purpose.

Although he and the Demon Pope were enemies, the two parties didn't have much conflict of interest.

As long as the Demon Pope agreed to seal himself, he didn't mind sparing his life.

However, on the other hand, the Holy Pope and the Demon Pope were mortal enemies, and the Holy Pope would never rest until the Demon Pope was dead.

"My friend, don't worry. With me here, the Holy Church will surely prosper-", the First Sun King wanted to persuade the Holy Pope, but he stopped halfway through his words.

The First Sun King felt a shiver run down his spine and his intuition suddenly warned him of danger.

Immediately, the wings behind his back flapped and he wanted to open some distance from the Demon Pope, but his actions were half a beat too late.

The First Sun King suddenly felt a sharp pain in his abdomen and when he instinctively looked down, he discovered that a small black dagger had unknowingly pierced through his body.

"Why?!", the First Sun King's body trembled and he pointed his finger behind his back, towards the person who held this black dagger in their hand.

Shockingly, this person was not the Demon Pope nor another practitioner, but the Holy Pope, the person he always trusted and his close friend for many years.

In his last moments, the First Sun King's eyes dilated and he felt that he discovered something shocking.

"You are-!", he tried to speak, but before he could finish these words, countless dark shadows emerged from the small dagger and enveloped his figure.
