Chapter 67 This is the world in the comics
Chapter 67 This is the world in the comics
"Is your brain filled with shit?"
Chen Miaowen's eyes hurt from staring at the computer screen, so when he started watching the sixth movie from the beginning again, Fugo scolded him and he shut down the computer.
"Ugh."
He took out the diary and carefully read through it. He felt extremely sad when he saw the boss slap Nayev to death. After all, that nobleman was not a bad person, but a very good employee.
He harbored some resentment towards his boss, resenting that someone who had read the comics would still act so decisively.
Finally, he listlessly flipped through the pages, his gaze lingering on the scene of the boss stabbing the girl to death with arrows, and couldn't help but sigh.
"Can I do that?"
Even if the other person were the thief who stabbed him to death, he said he couldn't do it, absolutely couldn't. Even if he were asked to kill and cook a British Shorthair cat with an owner right now, he still couldn't do it. (To do it would be to be a psychopath.)
It was a very strange feeling. Even though he was forced to kill the gecko in that world, he did not show any emotion when he killed Di Wang.
However, he believes he cannot go back to that chapter in the comic right now.
"It's like... it's not me who did it back then?"
It's all in the past, and it won't happen again. After thinking for a few minutes, Chen Miaowen decided to put it out of his mind, put the diary on the table, and think about how to deal with the child who wanted to stew the cat.
"Should I stay home and refuse to see him tomorrow? Or I could say I'm sick, or better yet, make that madman lose interest in me... In any case, I can't meet him tomorrow."
He didn't know what the boss had done here, but it certainly wasn't a good thing.
"Huh? Boss, what is he doing?"
The diary never stopped its descriptions on each new page, depicting plots that were insignificant to him, such as Joe's secret and the prince's next move.
Although it was quite unexpected, he quickly accepted it, as it at least proved that his journey in the JOJO world had actually happened.
A few minutes later, he finally got to see what the boss's next plot developments would be like. So, like a former drama-watching teenager, he sat at his desk, anticipating and speculating.
He saw the shopkeeper, holding two arrows, find the prince.
"Prince, I need to rest now. Arrange a quiet place for me where no one will disturb me."
The prince was having his wound stitched up in a cabin, with the work being done by one of the ship's surviving doctors.
Before the surgery, he hadn't expected that so many guests would die or be injured without him lifting a finger; it was obvious that someone else had done it.
So he ordered Hol Hols, who had fled back in panic, along with his remaining subordinates, to try to find the culprit behind the scenes.
He was now almost completely unprotected. The natural wind he had painstakingly collected earlier had been stolen by Diablo, leaving him without enough Wind King Barrier to stop the bleeding from his right hand. So he had no choice but to gather the remaining doctors in the cabin and quickly perform surgery on him.
But on the way, when the surgery couldn't be stopped, the madman Diablo, whom he never wanted to see again, came knocking on his door.
He has no right to refuse any request from the other party; to refuse would mean certain death.
"Okay, sir, let my bodyguard take you there."
Diablo was taken to the lowest level of the ship, and coincidentally, this lowest level was not the one that could reach the surface of the sea. There was a hidden area below that, and on the deck of that area, lay Joe, who was unconscious because of Diablo.
Diablo was unaware that the diary comics from the other world were depicted in detail, showing the cross-section of the ship's two decks.
Just as Diablo lay down, Joe moved slightly on the floor below. In the comics, this was depicted as a finger twitch, given in close-up with onomatopoeic subtitles, and then... nothing more.
"These kinds of details...don't we need to go over them anymore?"
Chen Miaowen was speechless for a moment.
After seeing that the comic hadn't moved for a while and he couldn't figure out the plot, he started flipping back through the pages.
"Yedan, that madman, isn't dead yet. He met with Trish, and... he's heading to Egypt now?"
That ship's destination is also Egypt; it looks like we're going to run into each other again.
Chen was lost in thought, then shook his head and continued flipping through the pages.
Teresa lied to Fugo to help him; his billions were hidden in the confessional by the priest, and then Satan extracted his memories and took his wealth; Yedan possessed two souls, Satan himself being the eye...
These plot points, presented to Chen Miaowen, made him realize something, yet also left him feeling lost and disappointed.
"Real-life experiences are definitely not as exciting as a single hair in a comic book..."
He wondered if he could meet with his boss again and provide him with this information.
"Actually, he knew everything and didn't need my prompting."
"Get down here and eat!"
......
Diablo lay on the not-so-soft bed and began to think.
"That little madman is going to Egypt, and that's my destination too. As long as I'm careful, I won't run into him... But even if we do, I don't need the Insect Arrow. The power of Crimson King alone is enough to crush him, especially since he's in a weakened Stand state."
"As for that bastard Giorno Giovanna, his primary target is that little lunatic, so he sent my daughter Trish to try and sense my location and plan some kind of assassination attempt? But Giorno, I'll know everything. Do you think those SPW personnel can affect me?"
Diavolo's goal remains unchanged—to survive secretly and safely, only with the added difficulty of making Giorno Giovanna pay the price.
He believed that the only person he needed to be careful of at the moment was Rongrong, and he had to avoid her until he found the other insect arrows.
"Hmm, but in that world, Wei Yuxiu should have already met Chen Miaowen, right? If I'm not mistaken, something quite interesting will happen there soon..."
He habitually tied his hair into a braid, then suddenly paused.
......
"It feels like something I lost has come back."
Trish sat on the plane, clutching her chest, and silently murmured to herself.
"Do you even know who Diablo is, considering he's his daughter?"
The SPW driver's question almost hit a nerve.
"I had never seen him before, but I already knew from that brutal battle that he would only ever be a selfish and ruthless criminal, with no possibility of change, and that kind of demon was not my father!"
"Oh, I'm sorry, but we absolutely must find this demon and execute him on the spot!"
