Students may bring an owl, a cat, or a toad.
Parents are especially reminded that first-grade students are not allowed to bring their own flying brooms.
Although they are just two pieces of parchment, holding them in your hands can't help but stir your heart.
"Ah, from now on, I will also be a member of Hogwarts Technical School."
An advertisement seemed to echo in Levin's mind:
To learn magic, find Old Deng; he has eight hundred stainless steel crucibles.
The four colleges have a good relationship, and the dozen or so professors are highly skilled.
Hogwarts is a large institution with 200,000 students from all over the world.
The job offers stable employment, high income, and lifelong job security.
The job is definitely stable and secure, after all, Aurors and Death Eaters all graduate from here, it's self-sufficient, so Old Dumbledore's job is secure.
Thinking of this, Ye Ting felt another surge of excitement.
Although enrolling in Hogwarts this year means he will continue to be classmates with that elementary school classmate, and will be threatened by Voldemort and Death Eaters for the next seven years...
But that's about becoming a wizard!
Is there anything cooler than this?
To hell with early fame and financial freedom!
I'm not playing with you Muggles anymore, I'm joining the wizarding world!
Chapter 2 I'm Giving Up Being a Wizard, JoJo!
"Cuckoo!"
The hooting of an owl interrupted the transmigrator's excited reverie.
Seeing the bird-headed creature's impatient expression, Levin quickly opened the drawer, took out a biscuit, broke it into small pieces, and placed it in front of the creature.
This is the postman who can decide his fate; he has to bribe him properly.
As the owl lowered its head to peck at its food, Levin took out paper and pen and began to reply to the letter.
As an adult, he knew very well that as an orphan from a Muggle orphanage, he couldn't act like a know-it-all just because he had read the Harry Potter series in his previous life, pretending that "no one knows more about Hogwarts than me."
He had to feign hesitation and doubt.
His wording had to be appropriate to his age, befitting the image of a precocious but imaginative child.
A reply was quickly written.
"Then, I'll leave it to Mr. Owl."
Levin placed the reply in the owl's claws and watched the postman go.
Then, in a joking tone, he told the orphanage director about it:
A magic school calling itself Hogwarts sent him an acceptance letter, and he replied to it.
The headmistress, naturally, didn't believe her and said with a smile, "Oh, little Levin, maybe it's just some naughty kid playing a joke on you. Don't worry about it."
However, the very next day, things took an unexpected turn.
The next morning, there was a knock on the door of the orphanage.
Levin opened the door, and outside stood a tall woman, about fifty or sixty years old, wearing a green robe, glasses, with a powerful aura and a serious expression.
She looked at the boy with a questioning gaze.
He has black hair, black eyes, and yellow skin; he is handsome, but clearly not well-nourished.
“Mr. Levin Green, is that right?”
“Yes, it’s me.” Levin nodded.
“I am Professor Minerva McGonagall, the Vice-Headmistress of Hogwarts…”
So it turns out she was the one who came to pick me up.
Levin nodded.
Compared to Professor McGonagall in the movie from her previous life, the witch in front of her was only similar in dress and temperament, but her appearance was completely different—which was not surprising, after all, this was the real world.
The "savior" from the elementary school also didn't look like Harry Potter in the movies, which is why Levin didn't recognize him.
"and many more!"
Behind Levin, the headmistress said with some surprise, "You mean, you're from that magic school mentioned in the letter? This really isn't..."
However, the words "prank" were not uttered.
After all, Professor McGonagall's expression and aura made it clear that this woman was not the type to play pranks on others.
Looking at her, Levin seemed to recall his high school dean from his previous life.
Before the dean could ask further questions, Professor McGonagall produced a wand.
She pointed lightly at the headmistress, and the other woman's attitude changed immediately: "Oh, welcome, Professor McGonagall. Thank you for taking in little Levin. It's the best choice you could have made. You know, little Levin is a well-known genius in our orphanage. It's just a pity... Oh well, I won't say any more. You two chat, I'll go get you some tea."
With that, the rambling woman walked away.
At the same time, Levin found a voice echoing in his mind:
[You experience magic for the first time. Because of your wisdom from a past life, you awaken an extraordinary level of understanding. You have a chance to have sudden enlightenment when learning and appreciating new things.]
[In your past life, you possessed information from all the heavens and myriad realms. Your arrival impacted this world, and your comprehension enabled you to comprehend the wisdom from all the heavens and myriad realms.]
You witnessed the use of mind control magic, you realized the power of the mind, and you awakened your psychic abilities.
You have mastered the passive mind abilities [Charm] and [Conceal Thoughts]
Exceptional comprehension?
Mind magic?
Wow, that's amazing! So the so-called Hogwarts acceptance letter was just an appetizer; this is the real cheat code!
The term "psychic magic" comes from the D&D world and refers to a profession called psychic mage.
Spiritual energy originates from long-term, rigorous self-examination and mental training to cultivate one's own spiritual abilities.
This is an intrinsic energy, originating from one's own life and spirit; it is an idealistic force.
This ability can directly affect the mind and produce effects similar to magic. However, unlike magic, mental abilities are formless and shapeless, requiring no complicated chanting or spellcasting rituals. They can take effect simply by thinking about it.
However, psychic abilities rely entirely on the caster's inner strength, and there is no vast spellbook or various magic books available for learning; any ability must be discovered by the user on their own.
However, regardless of the circumstances, the profession of psychic, the psychic sorcerer, is a professional system that is no less complex than that of a wizard.
As for having to discover spells on your own... with my [heaven-defying comprehension], why would I be afraid of that?
The two spells currently available, [Charm], can make others feel favorably toward you through psychological suggestion, with an effect similar to hypnosis.
Of course, psychological suggestion is not hypnosis and does not have 100% control, but its advantage is that it has no trace of influence on others and will not be detected.
As for "concealing thoughts," that's essentially equivalent to "brain concealment."
This means that Ye Ting has absolutely no need to worry that the secrets hidden deep in his heart, those secrets capable of overturning the world, will be easily discovered by sly old foxes like Snape, Dumbledore, and Voldemort.
As expected, the cheat system lived up to its name, immediately showering the user with such a powerful gift.
Professor McGonagall had no idea that the little wizard in front of her had become a psionicist in the blink of an eye.
The cautious Levin naturally wouldn't reveal anything; he continued to feign ignorance, gazing worriedly at the wand in the other's hand:
"Is this magic? Will it have any negative effects on the headmistress?"
Professor McGonagall's tense face relaxed slightly, and the corners of her mouth turned up a little: "Don't worry, Mr. Grimm, this is just a simple suggestion spell. It won't have any negative effects on her. She'll just think you've entered a good Muggle school. After all, it's best not to let Muggles know about magic."
After saying that, she added:
"Muggle is the wizarding term, referring to an ordinary person who does not know magic."
Immediately afterwards, she transformed into a silver tabby British Shorthair cat in front of Levin, with eyeglass-shaped markings around its eyes.
"Wow! So awesome!"
Levin looked surprised.
This time it wasn't an act. Having been an ordinary person in his previous life, this was the first time he'd ever witnessed shapeshifting magic firsthand. And it was the most advanced form of shapeshifting magic—Animagus!
[You witnessed the Animagus transformation and gained the [Transfiguration Specialization]. You perceived the changes between humans and animals, which reminded you of the Druid class in another world. You unlocked the Druid talent and gained the initial Druid ability: Animal Communicator.]
[Transfiguration Specialization: You are proficient in Transfiguration spells. As you level up your Wizard class, you will gradually learn the core spells of all Transfiguration spells.]
To glance at Animagus and immediately unlock the Druid skill tree is truly an amazing epiphany.
Although I have only grasped the most basic animal dialogues so far,
But Levin understood that this was heading towards unlocking animal transformation.
Professor McGonagall was unsurprised by the Muggle wizard's expression: "Mr. Grimm, have you noticed that you have special abilities that other children don't have?"
"You mean this?"
Levin focused his attention on a soup spoon on the table.
