Hidan's face showed pain, and his mouth was twisted as a result. However, he did not loosen his grip on the Bloody Three-Month Scythe. Instead, he tightened his grip even more because of the rising anger in his heart, trying to press the Bloody Three-Month Scythe into Boruto's neck.

Hidan's body was nearly severed at the waist by Boruto's sword. Blood gushed from the wound, staining his clothes red. The dripping blood ran down his body and onto the ground, forming a shocking trail of blood.
Kakuzu noticed Boruto's gaze and was startled, realizing that Boruto was no match for him in close combat.
Kakuzu acted decisively, immediately releasing his restraints on Boruto and retreating backward to create distance between them, intending to wear down Boruto's power through a long-range battle.
Boruto did not rush to pursue Kakuzu, because the moment Kakuzu crushed the water-attribute masked monster, he had already buried the rest of its heart deep underground through the meridians in its arm.
At this moment, Asuma had finished settling the corpses on the ground. He quickly circled behind Kakuzu, tensed his body, and assumed a fighting stance, with one hand raised in front of his eyes and the other hand pressing down.
The move Asuma was about to use was a ninjutsu that Jiraiya had taught him, and now he was going to use it to avenge Jiraiya.
Asuma took a deep breath and concentrated all his chakra. Suddenly, a huge image of a thousand-armed Kannon appeared behind him, and a golden chakra fist condensed from it.

Then, Kakuzu's tone turned cold, and he continued, "In that case, I will grant your wish and let you go to the Pure Land to meet him again."
With a low shout from Kakuzu, the numerous sutures on his body began to burst open, exploding from his skin to reveal the blood vessels and meridians beneath.
Under Kakuzu's control, these blood vessels and meridians rapidly transformed into countless black tentacles, surging out from Kakuzu's body.
Kakuzu's tentacles coiled around his chest, forming a barrier to defend against Asuma's attack. He sneered and mocked, "What's wrong? Is this all the strength you've got? The momentum of your attack isn't even as strong as that bald monk's. And you still want to avenge him?"
Kakuzu completely disregarded Asuma's attacks, only wanting to finish him off quickly so that he and Hidan could focus on dealing with Boruto.
