Chapter 16 Kyurem's Movements 1
Chapter 16 Kyurem's Movements 1
After Song Chenggong was beaten, an ice-blue body appeared on the largest crater of the Wudalianchi volcano.
"Roar! (Wake up! Get up!)" Kyurem roared into the crater.
A giant rock rose from beneath Kyurem's feet, like a sword cleaving the sky, shooting straight into the clouds. The target was Kyurem. Kyurem reacted quickly, instantly transforming into a white flame Kyurem and flying into the air to dodge the attack. Then, it opened its mouth to gather white energy.
“===(‵□′) Frozen Kingdom!” Kyurem shouted, and the energy that should have been scattered was now gathered into a beam, shooting into the crater like a laser.
A red laser beam also shot out from inside the crater, and this laser beam contained the attribute of fire.
"(「□」)≡≡Breathe fire!!" A powerful voice came from inside the cave, followed by a loud shout.
Then the two beams of light came into contact and melted away. The ground they touched was half frozen and the other half turned into lava.
"You're still sleeping there!" Kyurem flew into the crater and said speechlessly.
"What's wrong with me taking a break now? I worked so hard to create the world!" Groudon retorted passionately.
"That was so many years ago! And you still won't let it go! This continent has nothing to do with you! You're really grumpy when you wake up! You're going to use the Cliff Sword on me, aren't you! You're something else!" Kyurem wasn't intimidated at all; his temper was his nature, and no one could stop him without Qi Hao around.
"What, can't I have a bad temper now?!" Groudon's irritable temper isn't new. Luckily it's Kyurem. If it were Kyogre, they would probably be fighting again. But Kyogre is in the sea south of China, while Groudon is in the volcano in the north. It's not easy to see him. It took him a lot of time to get here.
"Alright, haven't you noticed yet?" Kyurem looked at this guy who was even more brain-dead than Qi Hao, speechless.
"What did you find? Wait, why did you suddenly come looking for me?" Groudon asked Kyurem in confusion. Given Kyurem's previous personality, it was unlikely that the Kyurem that identified with him would come looking for him.
"So you really found an emotion that has nothing to do with reality or ideals? How is that possible? It's not even certain whether that thing exists or not, how could you possibly encounter it?" Groudon realized what was happening, but he couldn't believe it because the consequences were too severe.
"Yes, I never expected it either. I never expected that someone would abandon a child at the entrance of my cave five years ago, and I never expected that I would raise him." Kyurem said, his face showing relief. "That kid is a good candidate to be a trainer. He even has a physique that is one in a million. He is truly my good son."
At this moment, Kyurem inexplicably felt like a parent going home for the New Year to show off their child to relatives.
"Alright, alright, stop showing off. It's good that you can feel emotions again, but what about the future God War? Once you can feel emotions, the God War is not far away! But we don't even know who the enemy is!" Groudon said anxiously.
"I don't think Celebi's prophecy will come true, or rather, even if it does, so what? You know what my son said? He's going to turn me back to my original form!! Hahahaha!" Kyurem said proudly, his tone full of confidence, as if he was certain of success.
"That's it? Just because of a child's words? That's unrealistic! How long have you been split open? There's no way you can turn back!" Groudon was dumbfounded by this explanation. He couldn't understand why he could believe a child's promise!
"I don't care about all that! I have no ideals, so it's enough for me to help him achieve his ideals. I also have no reality, so I will support him no matter whether his ideals are realistic or not, even if he is bound to fail." Kyurem's expression changed, but his tone was carefree.
"Are you crazy?!" Groudon was frantic; he'd forgotten that this guy was missing something in his head!
"So what if I'm crazy? Haven't I been crazy long enough?!" Kyurem retorted nonchalantly. "When I turn back, the first thing I'll do is beat you up!"
"Alright, alright, I'll let you fight me then." Groudon said indifferently, since he felt that turning back was basically impossible.
"Mantis! (Great Earth God, you're awake? May I ask who this is?)" An elderly Scyther rushed over from the crater, looked at Groudon, and asked with a respectful tone.
"It's nothing, just an old friend of mine, also a legendary Pokémon, named Kyurem," Groudon replied to Scyther.
"Oh? You can actually talk to elves other than legendary beasts?" Kyurem said in surprise.
"What do you take me for? As long as you don't disturb my sleep, I'm still very kind, okay?" Groudon retorted, feeling that he wasn't some grumpy elf at all, and that those who disturbed his sleep deserved it.
"Okay, okay, you're right, but what's with this Scyther?" Kyurem asked Groudon, seemingly unconcerned.
"They are my followers. They know I am the god of the earth. They understand me. They won't think about turning the whole world into land like those followers before. I really don't know what those followers were thinking. Creating a continent once was tiring enough. Even the tectonic plates were pulled away by the Pillar King. Those so-called followers before were completely ignorant! I just want to sleep peacefully. Those who think about turning the ocean into land every day are crazy. Now these Scythers won't disturb my sleep. They'll even chase away anyone who comes. Occasionally when I wake up, they'll offer me a huge pile of berries. Where can you find such good followers?" Groudon boasted to Kyurem, as if he had found a kindred spirit.
"(?w? ) Mantis! (Do you really think so, sir!)" The elderly Scyther was so moved he almost cried.
"∠( ? 」∠)_Yeah, by the way, what brings you here?" Groudon leaned lazily against the volcano wall.
"Scyther. (My lord, it's like this, our clan has reached the breeding season, and all the eggs were laid yesterday. I wanted to see if you were awake yet, and if you could bless our newborns.)" Scyther quickly replied when it saw Groudon showing signs of falling asleep again.
"Sure, haha~, bring them over here," Groudon said nonchalantly, yawning.
"Yes, sir! I'll be right back!" The Scyther was overjoyed and hurriedly flew away.
"So, you've done this before?" Kyurem asked Groudon.
"What have you done?" Groudon asked lazily.
"Bless me! You know how to do this?" Kyurem reminded him.
"∑(°Д°) Oh right, I don't know how to do this." Groudon realized what he was doing, stopped leaning against the wall, and started thinking about how to bestow a blessing. Then he pulled out a red-hot iron block from behind his butt. "How about this? It's a big shard I took from Heatran. That guy wouldn't give me the volcano at first, so I had no choice but to treat the kid to his favorite Precipice Sword. Precipice Sword, more care, more love. To be honest, this thing hurt my butt when I sleep."
"Oh? Metal fragments of Heatran? Okay, then you'll cooperate with me, and we'll build something. Remember to make the fire bigger." Upon seeing the metal fragments of Heatran, Kyurem immediately pulled out a metal membrane as tall as a small mountain.
"Mantis! (The master has arrived!)" Behind the elderly Scyther were more than forty Scythers carrying eggs, and he also had an egg in his arms, which was most likely his grandson.
"Oh? Interesting, this kid is really interesting." Kyurem said, looking at the egg in the old Scyther's hand, then stopped thinking about it and looked at Groudon. "Alright, here we go, let's begin!"
Groudon then threw Heatran's metal fragments onto the metal membrane hill and immediately unleashed a full-force fire breath! Even Heatran's metal fragments melted instantly.
Sparks erupted, and all the Pokémon inside the crater, except for Kyurem, felt a wave of heat. The elderly Scyther shook the egg in its hand, radiating longing.
"(╬??皿??) Extreme Cold Flame!" Kyurem crossed his arms, using icy flames to compress the mountain-high metal membrane and fragments together, fusing and solidifying them. "( ▼皿▼)!!! Complete!!"
With a loud "whoosh," the overflowing energy produced an explosion, and a red, still-hot metal membrane appeared in Kyurem's hand. This was a crystallization formed by compressing the resources of an entire Metagross race and a large metal fragment of Heatran. Only Groudon's end-of-the-world flames and Kyurem's ice, capable of freezing the world, could create it.
"Mantis! (Thank you for your blessing, sir!)" the elderly flying mantis hurriedly thanked him.
The remaining Scythers also thanked Groudon for his blessing, even though it was useless, because it was lucky!
“Here, remember what this thing looks like. From now on, if you see a child carrying this, tell him to go find your grandson. Yes, it’s this Pokémon egg in your hand.” Kyurem raised the red steel metal membrane in his hand and said to the elderly Scyther.
"Yes, sir, no problem, sir." Scyther quickly agreed, after all, the divine beast wouldn't harm him.
"Alright, I'll take this metal membrane with me. It'll make your sleep more comfortable. I still need to tell the other legendary Pokémon." Kyurem finished speaking, turned around, and flew away.
"Huh? No? You? Never mind, that thing's useless anyway, let's go to sleep!" Groudon wanted to persuade him to stay, but what could be more important than sleep? "_(′□`」 ∠)_ Haha~ You guys go too, I'm going to sleep."
