Chapter 23 Summer Vacation (Part 2)
When I got back to the Strange family home from Hogwarts train station, I didn't realize how serious things were; I just put my luggage back in my room.
When I got downstairs, Strickland had already gone into his potions room.
There were some Galleons and Shekels on the table; this must have been the allowance that Speech taught me to use during the holidays.
Is this considered being kept by a sugar daddy/sugar baby? I'd be happy to!
Seeing the money on the table, I started to care a little. I didn't think much of it at school, but now I'm wondering if I should be more careful with my money. I can't rely on this kind of upbringing forever.
Then I included making money in my plan, and we started living a secluded life at home. I would not leave my room except for three meals a day. I would cook, deliver food to St. Peters, and then go back to my room. My encounters with St. Peters became less and less frequent.
Summer vacation has passed just like that; we've spent half of our vacation at home.
Today I just want to rest a bit and have breakfast with Severus. I made a pot of lean pork and millet porridge and some meat buns, and then I went to knock on the door of the potions room.
"What's wrong?" Why isn't the church opening the door?
"Eating breakfast, so busy?" This means you're so busy you can't even open the door.
"There's still some food left to finish, you eat first." Severus wasn't actually busy, he was just a little unsure how to face Ayers. It was alright at school, but now that he was at home and calmed down, he felt a bit lost.
"Okay, wait until you're done with your work before you come out to eat." I didn't realize anything was wrong, so I casually finished my breakfast and went back to my room to read.
I haven't run into Severus for several days in a row. No, I should say I haven't run into Severus since I came back. We even eat at different times.
I finally started to realize something: Severus was avoiding me because what happened that day had frightened him.
It's been a long time, and I thought it hadn't affected him, but it turns out this is what happened now.

He retreated back into his potion room to escape.
After finishing my milk tea, I packed up my teacup and went upstairs to my room. I didn't pay much attention to Severus, who was hiding in the shadows.
