Chapter 43 A Heart-to-Heart Talk with Sirius Black
Chapter 43 A Heart-to-Heart Talk with Sirius Black
Suddenly hearing the sound of a door opening from the direction of the lounge, he had no choice but to cast a 'Disguise Charm' to hide himself.
The ones who came in weren't other Gryffindor cubs, but the Raiders' Quartet. However, there are only three left now, and Sirius Black, who is particularly close to James Pott, is not among the Quartet.
"Jaime, is it really okay to let Sirius and Regulus leave alone?" Remus Lupin was quite concerned about his friend Sirius Black, and he had just seen the two brothers leave with rather unpleasant expressions.
“We’re just friends. They’re like brothers. They have something to talk about, and there’s nothing we can do about it.” James Pott noticed Sirius Black’s displeased expression when he left, but what could he say? They were just good brothers.
Hiding to the side, I overheard them discussing Sirius Black and Regulus Black, and from what they said, I knew where I could possibly run into Sirius Black.
After the three left the lounge, I slowly walked up to the high lampstand while under the 'Illusion Charm'.
Under the dim lamplight, Sirius Black and Regulus Black stood face to face, their figures appearing particularly tense in the light.
Sirius's eyes were filled with anger and disappointment. He clenched his fists and said in a low, stern voice, "Regulus, how could you make such a choice? Do you know what this means?"
A stubborn look appeared on Regulus's face. He raised his head, looked directly into Sirius's eyes, and replied, "I have my reasons, Sirius. I believe it is the right thing to do."
Sirius sneered and said sarcastically, "Right? Is what you call right betraying your family and our beliefs?"
Regulus's face turned pale, but he still said firmly, "I haven't betrayed anyone. I'm just doing what I think is right."
Their voices grew louder and louder, and their emotions became increasingly agitated.
They argued under the lampstand, neither willing to give in.
Sirius shouted angrily, "You have lost your way, Regulus. You are no longer the brother I knew."
Regulus shouted, “You don’t understand me at all, Sirius. You’ve never even tried to understand my thoughts.”
Finally, they looked at each other for a moment, then Regulus Black turned his back to the other and left the lampstand.
Sirius Black, left alone, carried a solitary figure, his existence seemingly forgotten by the world, his entire being shrouded in darkness.
His eyes were empty and lifeless, as if he had lost his soul, filled only with endless pain and sorrow.
"Sirius Black." When I reached the top of the lampstand, I saw Sirius Black, who was completely consumed by grief. I couldn't let him continue to grieve, so I called out to him loudly.
"What, it's you? Aren't you the one who helped Snotty-nosed last time?" Sirius Black had just had a fight with his brother Regulus Black and now he doesn't want to talk to me.
Actually, I know a thing or two about this plot; I learned about it in my past life.
Regulus Black was forced to join Voldemort's side for the sake of his family and his brother Sirius Black, and ultimately died in that cave while trying to obtain Voldemort's Horcruxes.
Sirius Black thought his brother was a coward who succumbed to Voldemort's clutches, but he genuinely wanted his brother to stay away from Voldemort's side. He was unaware of Regulus Black's suffering.
Regulus Black's brother, himself, and his family have been threatened by the volatile Voldemort. Forced into a corner, Regulus Black silently swallows his bitterness and sacrifices his life to protect his brother and family.
Right now, I really want to beat up Sirius Black for Regulus Black's sake; he's a real bastard.
But seeing his pitiful state now, I really want to laugh out loud, but alas, I can't.
"Sirius Black, sometimes I think you're a jerk, you never try to see things from another person's perspective." I suddenly wanted to beat him up, maybe making him realize his mistakes would leave a deeper impression on him.
"What? You want to fight me?" Sirius Black, true to his Gryffindor nature, was instantly enraged.
“Sirius Black, how do you understand your brother?” Ignoring Sirius Black’s anger, he jumped onto the fence and sat down to chat with Sirius Black.
"He's just a coward. Voldemort would have taken a coward like that." Sirius Black was truly speaking arrogantly about Voldemort.
"Is that really the case?" I put away the dragon bone glasses, and in the dark night, my golden beast eyes stared at Sirius Black.
"Who...who are you?" Sirius Black stared at me in astonishment, his eyes wide.
"I'll show you something." In dragon magic, there's a spell that allows someone to see what you want them to see through your eyes, somewhat like Dumbledore's Pensieve to see memories. But mine is much simpler; I can see it just by making eye contact.
I showed Sirius Black the footage of why Regulus Black joined Old Voldemort.
“No, how could this be?” Sirius Black was stunned. He couldn’t believe it was happening; this should be happening to him, the older brother.
"Sirius Black, you can be really selfish sometimes. You've hurt so many people because of yourself." I feel sorry for Sirius Black. He was injured by the werewolves later on because of Sirius Black.
"What have I done? How could I misunderstand Regulus like this?" Sirius Black was now caught in a vortex of self-reproach.
"Sirius Black, are you going to wallow in self-pity for me? You might as well go and apologize to Regulus Black." Why do I feel happy seeing Sirius Black like this?
“Yes, I should give it to Regulus Black.” Sirius Black, reminded by me, immediately went to find his brother.
"Uh... Sirius Black, shouldn't you look at the time? It's already curfew. You can't go find Regulus Black tomorrow either." Speechless, Sirius Black was being reckless, and Sirius, who was about to go to Slytherin to find Regulus Black, was being pulled along by one hand.
"You're right, thank you so much for today, you snotty-nosed guy." Sirius Black finally realized that he didn't even know my name.
“My name is Ayers Hall, you can call me Ayers.” Then, in a pretentious manner, he put his gold glasses back on.
