Chapter 74 Turning Tom Marvolo Riddle into a Vampire (Part 1)
Chapter 74 Turning Tom Marvolo Riddle into a Vampire (Part 1)
We cuddled together in the empty classroom for a while before tidying ourselves up and leaving together.
Time flies, and today is already the first day of the Christmas holiday. Yesterday, I sent Christmas gifts to a few people I was planning to visit.
I chose to stay at school this Christmas holiday, or rather, I went home to avoid my school.
Sigh~ Now my goal is very clear: first, I need to figure out Tom Marvolo Riddle's timeline before I can deal with the changes that happened later.
I'll probably be spending this whole vacation traveling around the timeline. Next semester will be the official start of the real timeline, and I'll be able to see a bunch of familiar faces.
And this thing, I wonder if it can solve Tom Marvolo Riddle's Horcrux problem.
I picked up a glass bottle filled with red liquid and held it up to the sunlight. The golden-red liquid was so beautiful.
(The sponsor travels through Tom Marvolo Riddle's teenage years, specifically during his sixth grade.)
[Jin: Okay, it's all arranged. Countdown to the start of the time travel event~]
“Tom Marvolo.” I didn’t expect that as I teleported over, I would come face to face with Tom Marvolo Riddle.
Fortunately, I had already changed my appearance when I started the time travel, and I was still the adoptive parent Tom Marvolo Riddle knew.
“Ayers Hall.” Riddle is taller than me now and much more mature. He’s no longer the naive boy I just adopted.
"Hehe, how about a hug?" I opened my arms and smiled at the boy in front of me.
"I thought it would be a long time before I saw you again." To my surprise, Riddle actually came over and hugged me, resting his head, which was slightly taller than me, on my shoulder.
“You’re so much taller than me now.” She gently stroked his soft hair.
“Hmm.” Riddle learned something at school that made him hesitant.
He looked at me again, just as he had when we first met. He was hesitating to make a decision, and I happened to appear at that moment.
"Is there something you can't decide?" I sensed that Riddle wanted to ask me something.
"Ayers, do you know about Horcruxes?" Riddle finally asked, having learned about Horcruxes from Professor Slughorn.
He wanted to ask if my understanding of Horcruxes was the same as his.
"The process of creating a Horcrux involves causing a wizard's soul to split through some extremely heinous act (such as murder), and then taking a part of the soul out of the body and placing it into an object outside the body. This object is the Horcrux." I explained the Horcrux-making process to Riddle in detail, but then I asked him, "Why do you want to know about Horcruxes? Do you want to make one?"
“Hmm.” This time Riddle didn’t deny it. He wanted to watch himself grow day by day with Ayers Hall, while Ayers’ time seemed to have stopped when they first met.
He didn't want this; he wanted immortality; he wanted to be with him.
“Sigh~ I didn’t expect it to be like this again. Tom Marvolo, tell me why you want to make Horcruxes.” I held his hands, my golden eyes fixed on Riddle’s black eyes.
“Ayers Hall Grindelwald, I, Tom Marvolo Riddell, want to be with you,” Riddell finally said.
He truly didn't understand what love was from birth; he was a person who didn't understand love.
His world revolved around himself; he didn't know what love was, nor how to love others.
He lived a solitary life until one day, I came along.
When I first met him, I thought the man who adopted me was so dazzling, especially when I went to his house, everything was golden yellow, I felt that way even more, how much does he like this color.
As time went on, he found himself enjoying every moment spent with him more and more.
He began to pay attention to his every move; he would be happy for his happiness and sad for his sadness.
He began to realize that he might be falling for the person who was always teasing him.
When he left his warm home alone to go to his favorite magic school, he believed he could manage on his own.
But when the holiday came, he returned to the home where he had spent a year with a little excitement.
There was nothing there; he wasn't here, and there was no trace of him anywhere.
Year after year, it was as if he had disappeared from his world again, and he had almost given up hope that he would come back.
Unexpectedly, he suddenly appeared behind me that day. I was very happy, even if he did nothing by my side.
Finally, he even helped me subdue a snake monster, and I was really happy at that moment.
I never expected that my stubbornness would lead to him being kicked out of the dormitory and then disappearing again.
He didn't know how he got back to his dorm, how he washed up, or how he went to sleep.
He felt like the sky was falling and he was about to lose his soul.
Every day, I would go and check on the snake monster and bring it some food.
Once, this disobedient basilisk sneaked out, leaving some traces. Professor Dumbledore almost discovered it, and finally had to expose Hagrid's keeping of the eight-eyed giant spider to calm things down.
After dealing with the matter, he taught the basilisk a lesson, and another year passed.
I could sense that the person who liked gold would still appear, but before they did, I found out about Horcruxes and, after asking around, learned detailed information about them from Professor Slughorn.
I was still hesitating whether to give it a try today, and then this person suddenly appeared.
[Gold: Ding—The target of the romance, Tom Marvolo Riddle, has confessed his love to the host. The romance is complete.]
Rewards: 200 Bond Points, 200 Experience Points, 20 Favorability Points, 2 Luck Point, 200 Galleons
“Tom Marvolo, there’s more than one way to be with me. Horcruxes aren’t for you. I have a better way.” How could someone like Riddle, who hasn’t killed anyone, possibly create a Horcrux? I placed a glass bottle filled with red liquid in his hand.
The red liquid had a dark red hue, like aged wine. It flowed slowly in the glass bottle, as if it were alive.
The surface of the red liquid shimmered with a faint light, reflecting the light.
The glass bottle is smooth and transparent, without a single flaw.
Its shape is beautiful and its lines are smooth, just like a fine work of art.
The mouth of the glass bottle was tightly sealed with a cork to prevent the red liquid from leaking out.
