Kakashi's single eye curved into a crescent shape: "That's right!"
Naruto couldn't help but recall the painful experience of being dragged into the classroom by Kakashi to study.
He quickly retreated to the back of the classroom, looking at Kakashi with a terrified expression: "Don't come any closer!!!"
Inside the sealed space, Minato looked at Naruto's reaction with a puzzled expression: "Huh? Why is Naruto reacting so strongly to Kakashi?"
Madara explained, "A few years ago, Naruto had a sparring session with him, lost, and was then forced to study until the wee hours of the morning."
Kurama added, "From that time on, Naruto developed a psychological aversion to Kakashi."
Seeing Naruto's reaction, Kakashi actually felt quite sorry for Naruto, but thinking about it carefully, it was quite funny.
"Cough cough!" Kakashi suddenly coughed loudly, interrupting him. "Alright, we'll meet at the third training ground at five o'clock tomorrow morning. Remember not to eat breakfast, you'll throw up."
After saying that, he disappeared into white smoke with a "bang," leaving the three students looking at each other in bewilderment.
Sasuke frowned and looked at Naruto: "Loser, do you know that Jonin?"
Sakura curiously joined in: "Yeah, Naruto, how do you know Kakashi-sensei?"
Naruto didn't want to talk about his dark past, especially in front of his arch-rival Sasuke.
So he could only laugh it off and say, "Well, I once ate ramen with Kakashi-sensei, and I lost."
Sasuke and Sakura responded to Naruto's reason with a look that said, "Do you think I'm an idiot?"
Inside the sealed space, both of them were speechless; no one would believe such a reason.
Nine-Tailed Fox flicked its tail: "Little brat, you're still too green."
Chapter 28 Survival Exercise
Upon returning home, Naruto immediately entered the sealed space, where his three "fathers" were already waiting.
Upon seeing Minato and the others, Naruto burst into tears, crying, "Dad! Dad! What am I going to do? I can't do anything with Kakashi-sensei!"
Ban scolded, "What are you crying for? A real man can only bleed, not cry. What did I tell you last time? Next time you meet him, make him use his full strength."
Minato gently ruffled his son's hair: "Kakashi is a gentle boy, he won't hurt you."
Listening to Minato's words, he recalled the scene of Kakashi punishing Naruto.
If it weren't for Naruto's studies, Madara would have forcibly controlled his body and increased the intensity on the opponent.
"I do not believe."
Minato sighed: "Kakashi... he wasn't like this before. Although he was a bit rigid, he valued his teammates a lot."
Naruto blinked. "Dad, what was Kakashi-sensei like before?"
Minato's gaze drifted into the distance: "He was a genius, becoming a Jonin at twelve, responsible and never late..."
“Wait,” Naruto interrupted, “Never late? Then today…”
They promised to come and take them away in the morning, but they didn't arrive until almost sunset.
This is no longer a question of being late; it's a question of being irresponsible.
Madara suddenly interjected, "It seems your death hit him hard, Fourth Hokage."
Minato remained silent.
Kurama gently patted Naruto's back with its tail: "Naruto, tomorrow use my chakra to let him experience the power of the Tailed Beast Ball."
However, Naruto rejected Kurama's offer: "I don't want to. My dad told me that you can't grow if you always accept help from others."
Kurama immediately realized that this was something Madara would say: "Old Madara, you..."
Madara simply rolled his eyes at the other person: "What do you mean, 'what'? Did I say something wrong?"
Ignoring the bickering that had resumed, Naruto asked Minato, "Why has Kakashi-sensei become like this?"
Madara also asked, "I'd like to know how this carefree guy became a ninja."
Minato patted Naruto's hair and said, "He couldn't save his two best friends when they passed away, Obito Uchiha and Rin Nohara."
Kurama, resting its chin on its hand, grumbled, "Well, it's Uchiha again."
He realized that he could never get along with the Uchiha clan in this lifetime.
Decades ago, he was forcibly controlled by Madara to fight Hashirama, and then, unsurprisingly, was sealed inside his wife's body.
Twelve years ago, he was freed by a masked Uchiha, which led to him being sealed inside Naruto's body.
Unfortunately, three years later, Madara's soul appeared in the sealed space.
They're now talking about someone from a completely different clan than the Uchiha, and surprisingly, that clan includes the Uchiha.
Nine-Tails was speechless.
“Uchiha…Obito…”
Upon hearing the name Obito, Madara felt a slight unease.
It was as if I had seen this person before, a short-haired Uchiha boy with half his body smashed.
Minato noticed Madara's unusual behavior and couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong?"
But after thinking it over and over, he still couldn't remember. Ban shook his head: "No, it's nothing. I must be overthinking it."
Nine-Tails flicked its tail and sneered, "So, old man, you're suffering from amnesia."
"You scruffy fox, you deserve a beating!"
"Alright, alright, you two, now is not the time to make a move!"
Naruto couldn't help but laugh as he watched his three "fathers" arguing again.
No matter what happens tomorrow, with them by his side, he has nothing to fear.
The next day, before dawn, Naruto arrived at the third training ground.
Unexpectedly, Sasuke was already waiting there.
"Yo, Sasuke!" Naruto greeted him energetically, "You're here so early too!"
Sasuke didn't even lift his eyelids: "You're not late either. I thought you wouldn't arrive until noon."
"No way, my dad and the others keep saying I have to be on time, it's driving me crazy."
Seeing Naruto's complaining expression, Sasuke's gaze shifted slightly in their direction.
Doesn't he not have parents? Who are the father and mother he's talking about?
Never mind, it's very impolite to pry into other people's private affairs.
Sakura arrived shortly afterward. She had dressed up carefully, and her face immediately turned red when she saw Sasuke.
And so, the three of them began their journey of waiting.
The three of them waited until the sun had just risen, and only after the sun had fully risen did Kakashi slowly appear.
"Good morning, everyone~" Kakashi waved lazily, "Today on my journey through life..."
"Lost again, huh!" the three shouted in unison.
Sakura couldn't help but complain, "Honestly, they can't even come up with a better excuse."
Naruto squinted and crossed his arms: "That's right, if I make a mistake, at least I'll ask Sasuke to take the blame."
Upon hearing this, Sasuke was instantly enraged: "What? What did you say, 'bottom of the class'? Was it you who made me clean the toilets last time?"
Naruto realized he had let something slip and could only laugh it off, saying, "The pranks went too far back then, and the teachers thought it was a group prank, so I had no choice but to implicate you."
"You're the worst of the bunch..."
If Sasuke didn't still have the honor of the Uchiha clan, he would definitely have given Naruto a few lines with a lot of profanity.
"Alright, alright, you two, if you keep fighting, it'll be considered that you've voluntarily surrendered."
Just as Sasuke and Naruto were about to start fighting, Kakashi quickly waved his hand to stop them.
The two were stunned upon hearing this. After all, they hadn't even started acting yet, and they were already going to lose? That was impossible!
Kakashi squinted and smiled, then took out two bells from his ninja tool bag: "Today's test is simple: snatch the bells from me before noon."
"Those who fail to get lunch will not receive any, and will be tied to that wooden stake to watch others eat."
"Only two bells?" Sakura noticed keenly.
“That’s right,” Kakashi’s one eye curved into a crescent moon, “which means at least one person will fail!”
Meanwhile, inside the sealed space, Minato looked at the two bells and couldn't help but sigh, "Stealing bells, huh? It brings back so many memories."
Ban asked, "Do you do this often?"
Minato shook his head: "No, it can't be considered frequent. It's said that the content of this bell-snatching test was passed down from my teacher's teacher."
Nine-Tails couldn't help but complain, "Even though we've already graduated, humans are such a hassle."
Minato simply smiled faintly and said, "Graduates of the Ninja Academy cannot actually be considered genin. Only those who pass the survival training can officially become genin."
Madara said with interest, "It seems that your education is not entirely conducted in a greenhouse. You have to face Jonin-level opponents right after graduation."
"Yes, but it's just an exercise, so the Jonin won't use their full strength."
Chapter 29 Everyone Fails
Upon hearing that Kakashi was going to conduct a survival drill, Sakura couldn't help but raise her hand and ask, "Survival drill? We've done that many times at school."
Kakashi, hands in his pockets, with a lazy expression, said, "You guys don't think graduating means becoming a genin, do you? Only those approved by us jonin can truly become genin. You're still students."
Naruto remained nonchalant: "Don't worry, it's just a survival exercise."
Kakashi smiled sinisterly and said, "That's different. If you don't pass, you'll be sent back to school to study again."
The three of them were startled at the same time. Back at school? The three of them?
The thought of being ridiculed when they returned to school sent chills down the spines of the trio.
Kakashi smiled like a friendly older brother and said, "So you guys need to be mentally prepared, otherwise it won't be good if you end up crying."
Naruto noticed the other person's gaze on him and couldn't help but roll up his sleeves: "Who's going to cry?"
