Besides, the chubby boy back then was holding a magic wand! Even reciting the spell three times wasn't enough to cast it correctly!

"This novice wizard, in just one month, can throw away his wand and cast spells without it? It must be an illusion! Or an illusion to fool me like a fool! That damned Dumbledore!"

Voldemort's main spirit confidently drew its conclusion.
