Chapter 121 The New Eternal Spear
Chapter 121 The New Eternal Spear
The Holy Lord waved his hand at Brock: "You may leave now. I want to see the Spear of Eternity complete in three months."
Brock, accompanied by several craftsmen, respectfully withdrew from the hall, which fell silent. Hela approached the Holy Lord and lowered her voice, asking, "Master, are you truly going to help the dwarves against the Kree Empire?"
Three months later in the Golden Palace.
When Brock led the dwarven craftsmen back into the hall, the Holy Lord had already been waiting for half an hour.
In these three months, a lot has happened in Asgard. Hela has recruited dozens of magicians from Vanaheim and has completed the initial transformation of the Death Legion's magic system. Wanda's chaos magic has been further enhanced under the guidance of Shendu using the Reality Stone.
"Your Majesty," Brock knelt on one knee, holding a long box made of pure gold in both hands, "I have fulfilled my mission."
The Holy Lord rose from his throne and slowly walked to Brock, reaching out to open the long box. A blinding light emanated from the box, enveloping the entire hall. Hela subconsciously squinted; she found the aura repulsive.
The Spear of Eternity lay quietly in its long case, but its appearance was now completely different.
The original silver-white spear body is now engraved with ancient runes. The Eternal Spear now has a deep dark gold color, and countless fine runes flow on the spear tip. The Eternal Spear emits a hum every time the runes rotate.
The Holy Lord poured his aura into the new Eternal Spear. The light from the "Heart of the Black Sun" on the spear tip overwhelmed the original light, and an oppressive aura emanated from the Eternal Spear, pressing towards the Holy Lord. The Holy Lord snorted coldly, and the oppressive aura on his body intensified. The "Heart of the Black Sun" hummed a few times before falling silent.
"It's done!" Brock's voice was filled with barely concealed excitement: "From this day forward, the Spear of Eternity is no longer a divine weapon of the Nine Realms, but a divine weapon capable of tearing apart stars."
The Holy Lord reached out and grasped the gun. The moment they made contact, a powerful force surged into his body, causing the hall to tremble and fine cracks to appear on the walls.
Hela's expression changed drastically: "Master, quickly control it! Otherwise, the entire Golden Palace will be destroyed by its aura!"
The Holy Lord took a deep breath and forcefully suppressed that power, and the originally rampant energy was absorbed back into the Eternal Will Spear.
"Not bad." The Holy Lord opened his eyes, looked at the Spear of Eternity, and smiled slightly. "The craftsmanship of the dwarves is indeed well-deserved."
Brooke wiped the sweat from his brow: "As long as the king is satisfied."
The Holy Lord held the Spear of Eternity beside him, the dark red light emanating from its tip casting flickering shadows on his face: "Hela."
Hela stepped forward: "Master."
"Test its power." The Holy Lord handed the Spear of Eternity to Hela: "Go find a secluded spot outside the Golden Palace."
Hela took the Spear of Eternity, a hint of excitement flashing in her eyes.
The square was deserted, with the city and fields of Asgard in the distance, and the Rainbow Bridge further away.
Hela raised the Spear of Eternity, feeling the power within the spear and her connection with the Holy Lord, then aimed the spear tip at a star in the sky and hurled it.
The moment the Eternal Spear left his hand, the world changed color. The Eternal Spear transformed into a dark golden light that shot towards that spot, and a few seconds later, a muffled roar came from the horizon.
The square was completely silent. Brock was pale and his lips were trembling. He knew the power of the Spear of Eternity, but he was still shocked to see it with his own eyes.
The Holy Lord raised his hand and sheathed the Spear of Eternity. Hela respectfully said from the side, "Master, there is no one left in the Nine Realms who can rival us."
The Holy Lord nodded in satisfaction. Although he was already invincible here before obtaining the upgraded Eternal Spear, who would give up the opportunity to increase their strength?
Back in the main hall, the Holy Lord sat on his throne, looking with satisfaction at the Eternal Spear beside him.
Brock did not leave; he stood in the center of the hall, seemingly wanting to say something but then stopping himself.
"Is there anything else?" the Holy Lord asked.
Brock took a deep breath and said, "Your Majesty, there is something else I'm not sure if I should say."
"explain."
"When I mentioned the Kree Empire three months ago, I only told half the story," Brock said, looking at the Holy Lord. "In these three months, the Dwarf Kingdom received a message from the Kree Empire. They... they demanded that the Dwarf Kingdom provide more weapons, and they also put forward a new condition."
"What are the conditions?"
Brock's expression turned grim: "They're demanding that the Dwarven Kingdom help them open a passage to the Nine Realms. The Kree Empire already knows of the Nine Realms' existence."
The atmosphere in the hall suddenly became more concentrated, and Loki subconsciously looked at Shendu, hoping to see a change in his expression.
But the Holy Lord's expression remained unchanged, still that calm and composed demeanor: "How did they know?"
Brock shook his head: "I don't know. Maybe someone leaked the information, or maybe the Kree Empire's own intelligence network found it."
Three days later.
The Holy Lord sat in the Golden Palace, with Wanda standing behind him.
"Master," Hela said, "News from the Dwarf Kingdom indicates that the Kree Empire has assembled a fleet and is preparing to cross the interstellar boundary into the Nine Realms."
"How many people?" the Holy Lord asked.
"At least five main warships and more than 20,000 soldiers, under the unified command of a commander from the Kree Empire. According to the Dwarf Kingdom, this is only an advance force, and a more powerful force will be dispatched later."
The hall fell silent for a moment. The Holy Lord closed his eyes, seemingly lost in thought, while Wanda beside him reacted indifferently, as if she didn't take this power seriously.
Loki, standing nearby, couldn't help but speak up: "Five capital warships and this is just the vanguard? Just how many troops does the Kree Empire have?"
The Holy Lord ignored Loki's worries, toying with the tip of the spear and feeling the power within it: "Dealing with them is simple, we just need to let them know that the Nine Realms already have a supreme ruler."
Hela frowned slightly: "Master, are you going there in person? The Kree Empire's territory spans several star systems, and even at its peak, Asgard would not easily become its enemy."
"Asgard at its peak?" The Holy Lord's lips curled slightly upward. "That was the era of Odin."
The Holy Lord rose, and the Spear of Eternity flew into his hand, causing the temperature in the entire hall to drop several degrees.
"Hela, you guard Asgard. Loki, you handle the aftermath of Vanaheim." Finally, the Lord turned his gaze to Wanda and said, "You come with me."
Wanda was slightly taken aback, then happily knelt on one knee: "Yes, Master."
The Kree Empire, the core temple of supreme wisdom.
This is the power center of the Kree Empire. Countless fiber optic cables converge from all directions onto a giant sphere in the center, and each hop of the cables represents billions of calculations.
"Supreme Intelligence, the Imperial Fleet has completed the eradication of the remaining Skrull forces."
