As Smoker looked out the window from his hospital room, he happened to see Tina and Ron walking together.
His eyes narrowed involuntarily.
"Why is Tina walking with him?"
"Could it be that she already knows?"
Smoker's eyes widened.
If Tina finds out.
That means the whole of Marineford probably knows about it!
He, Smoker, was seriously injured and hospitalized after being beaten by an 11-year-old child!
Actually, Tina had no idea about this at all!
She simply planned to take the little boy she liked to go shopping, and coincidentally, a shop she had been wanting to try for a long time seemed to be launching a new dessert.
Only a few people knew about the contest between Smoker and Ron.
They wouldn't reopen Smoker's wounds during the Warring States period.
As long as Smoker and Ron don't say anything, no one else will know, and once Smoker recovers, it will be as if nothing ever happened.
But now Smoker has misunderstood, thinking that everyone already knows...
Lying in bed, Smoker stared blankly out the window, a cigar dangling from his lips.
After a long silence.
He made a decision.
"Once I'm healed, I'll leave Marineford—no, I'll leave the Grand Line. I'll find a place to settle down."
On an island near Marineford, Tina and Ron ate and drank their way through the island.
Ron also temporarily abandoned his idea of cultivation and, as a traveler, enjoyed various delicacies and specialty drinks.
The two had a great time.
Little did they know that Smoker was already planning to leave the Grand Line.
Carrying various delicacies, desserts, and clothes back to the Marineford warship, Tina bent down and smiled at Ron:
"Tina really likes you, little Ron. Come aboard Tina's ship."
Although they had only spent half a day together, she really liked Ron and treated him like a younger brother.
If her fellow naval cadets saw this, they would be quite surprised. The proud, aloof, and incredibly confident Tina could be so gentle and approachable.
Ron shook his head at him.
"Tina, I'm not a Marine yet, so I can't become your subordinate."
"Is that so? Tina is disappointed."
Tina was somewhat disappointed, but she still respected Ron's decision.
Ron nodded and smiled at her, "If there's a chance next time, I'll go out to sea with you, Tina."
Tina, who is over 1.8 meters tall, bent down and patted his head with a smile.
"Okay."
……
In the evening, after the warship docked, the two parted ways.
Tina, draped in a coat of justice, stood on the deck, watching the small figure gradually disappear into the distance, a smile appearing on her beautiful face.
Tina is now a lieutenant and still has quite a few missions to go out to sea to capture pirates. Today is a rare day off for her.
She had heard that Smoker was injured and had originally intended to visit him.
Unexpectedly, I ran into the rumored specially recruited intern, who was so interesting and cute, completely out of place with the serious and dull atmosphere of the naval headquarters.
Like a splash of vibrant green against a somber gray background, it irresistibly drew in Tina, an independent and highly individualistic woman.
"Lieutenant Tina, shouldn't we be setting off?"
An adjutant asked from behind Tina.
"lets go."
Tina turned around and said.
See you next time, little Ron.
…………
47. Zephyr's Plans (5/5)
Ron was naturally unaware of Tina's thoughts.
On his way back to his residence, he ran into another familiar face.
Lieutenant General Flying Squirrel.
The flying squirrel also saw him, but only glanced at him before leading the navy behind him past him.
Can't go wrong.
Ron turned his head and glanced at the tall, thin figure from behind.
This guy's swordsmanship has definitely reached the level of a sword master that Director Koushirou mentioned.
Add in Armament Haki and Observation Haki...
"I am definitely no match for him now."
Ron thought to himself as he walked down the street.
……
The next period of time.
Tina was busy with her mission, and Smoker, once his injuries had healed, immediately requested a transfer.
Ron usually either walks barefoot on the walls to train his perception, or goes to the Navy Headquarters building or the Naval Academy. As long as he doesn't go to some classified places, no one stops him.
The naval officers and soldiers were generally mild-mannered and friendly towards him, but some also treated him coldly and indifferently.
Ron didn't care at all.
After discovering that the Naval Academy had a large number of training machines and that naval freshmen could be seen practicing the Six Styles of Naval Warfare from time to time.
Ron then spent more time at the Naval Academy.
……
soon.
A month has passed.
this day.
Naval Headquarters Building.
"Is it okay to just leave it like this?"
Kizaru sat in his seat, fiddling with his fingers.
"what?"
Sengoku sat behind his desk processing documents without looking up.
"That kid Mr. Garp brought back."
"You mean Ron? He's been doing quite well at Marineford lately, hasn't he?"
"It's quite comfortable here, but will keeping him in Marineford really let him see the justice of our Navy?" Kizaru said without looking up. "Is making him a trainee target so that he can join the Navy? Or is it just to maintain his trainee status?"
"Borsalino, what are you trying to say?"
Zhan Guo looked up at him.
Kizaru stood up, put his hands in his pockets, and glanced at Sengoku with a smile behind his sunglasses: "I just think... we need to let him see the evil of pirates."
Zhan Guo narrowed his eyes slightly: "Tell me in detail."
…………
Kizaru walked out of Sengoku's office.
Didn't go far.
He then stopped.
"Is this alright, Professor Zephyr?"
Zefa, who was standing by the wall with his arms crossed, hummed in agreement.
"Thanks a lot."
"Teacher Zephyr, couldn't you have just spoken to the Marshal about this yourself? Why did you specifically come to me?"
