Ron nodded; he could also sense that the door was about to crack.
"Be prepared. As soon as the door breaks, we'll rush out."
Just then, the door began to shake more and more violently, indicating that the place was about to fall.
Ron frowned; he was ready to charge out.
With a loud bang, the entire room began to shake violently, almost turning the room upside down.
246. The Curse's Siege
The power of those curses was terrifying; they were able to move the entire room on their own.
Ron's expression changed, and he said.
"It seems we've encountered a very formidable opponent this time, and we must be prepared."
Taiichiro nodded, his hands holding the twin swords trembling slightly.
Although we've encountered many curses before, this is undoubtedly the most difficult one yet.
The signs of the door cracking became increasingly obvious, and suddenly a pair of pale hands reached out from inside.
He frantically slid the door open, and just as his hand touched the doorknob, a golden light flashed.
The hand seemed to have been injured and quickly withdrew.
Ron then noticed that there were runes engraved on the doorknob as well.
He hadn't seen these runes when he came before; they must have been added this morning.
I wonder who did these things. Did they all have a premonition that these curses would find this place?
Although it has runes on it, it can't last very long.
Soon the entire room shattered, and the curses swarmed in.
Ron roared.
"Now's the time, let's rush out."
After saying that, they moved desperately in that direction.
Ron threw punches fiercely, each punch carrying a large amount of magical power.
The surging, powerful magic exploded like a ray of dawn in the darkness.
In that instant, Ron forced back all the surging curses.
Taiichiro, on the other hand, wielded his twin swords with all his might, the swords imbued with a great deal of magical power.
They can all harm those curses.
Each strike could cleave the opponent in two.
Although the curses healed quickly, it was clear that they were all wary of the two of them and began to slowly disperse.
Ron seized the opportunity and rushed forward desperately, with Taiichiro close behind him.
Just then, a pair of hands suddenly reached out from the dark room and grabbed Ron's ankles.
Ron thought it was one of the curses, and he swung his fists and charged down desperately.
But that immense force made Ron lose his balance.
He collapsed to the ground, and the curses around him surged up instantly.
Fortunately, Ron has a wealth of combat experience.
The instant he fell, he immediately turned around and got up from the other side.
Those curses hadn't anticipated Ron's swift reaction.
By the time they charged, Ron had already distanced himself from them.
But things aren't looking so good for Taiichiro.
Although he reacted quickly, it was clear that the force of that hand was greater than that of Taiichiro.
He pulled Taiichiro out in an instant and moved quickly.
Taiichiro frantically swung his twin swords, trying to cut off that hand.
But when the knife struck his arm, it sparked a series of sparks, yet it failed to sever his arm.
"Damn it, what kind of arm is this? Why is it so hard?"
Taiichiro roared loudly, planting his twin swords into the ground to stabilize himself and prevent the arm from moving him.
But he clearly underestimated the strength of that arm.
A moment later, the two swords in his hands left a deep mark on the ground.
He was grabbed by that arm and thrown out.
With a loud bang, Taiichiro crashed to the ground.
It felt like my internal organs had shifted, and even my spine felt like it was about to break.
It took him a while to come to his senses, but he found it incredibly difficult to stand up.
When Ron saw that Taichiro was in danger, he immediately rushed over to try to save him.
But before he could rush forward, he was blocked by those curses.
He's surrounded by too many curses now; it's impossible for him to break through them.
Ron looked around, trying to find a foolproof plan.
But the curses from all sides had already surrounded him.
Breaking through now would be a difficult task.
Ron tried everything but to no avail; he moved quickly, trying to break through the curses in front of him.
But in that instant, a terrifying force struck Ron.
It's that same arm again.
He flew over from a great distance and grabbed Ron's ankle.
Ron swung his fists frantically, but this time he missed the arm and instead fell to the ground.
The power of that arm was terrifying, far stronger than any ordinary curse.
Ron still doesn't know where those curses came from.
As he fell, he finally saw through the gaps that the arm had shot out from the room.
Ron was attacked when he entered the room, and he hasn't even seen what's in it yet.
But now he understood that there was an even more powerful curse in that room.
But why did the curse enter that room?
Taichiro said loudly.
"Be careful, don't get caught by this monster."
Ron said helplessly.
"It seems we've all been subdued by him."
With a loud bang, Ron felt a tremor around him.
A tremendous force formed before him.
It turned out that the arm had smashed a huge crater right next to him.
This immense power secretly alarmed Ron.
Although Ron experienced the power of the curse during their first encounter, he didn't think much of it at the time.
Now, even just one arm is proving incredibly troublesome for him.
Although Ron was grabbed by that arm, he used all his strength to channel his magical power into his feet as well, in order to damage that arm.
But the arm was clearly gripping Ron tightly, and even though Ron had unleashed all his magical power, the other party did not loosen its grip in the slightest.
This put Ron under a lot of pressure.
"Damn it, what is this thing?"
Ron couldn't help but curse.
Suddenly, the curses around me began to disperse.
At that moment, a huge curse appeared before Ron.
Ron looked closely and realized it was the lord's curse. He smiled at Ron.
"I didn't expect you to fall into my hands again, but this time you might not be so lucky to escape."
Ron gave a wry smile.
"It seems I can't escape now, even if I wanted to. But I don't know how you found me."
