However, instead of attacking Ron, he burrowed into Ron's body and began to frantically assault Ron's body.
Ron felt that the energy seemed to be slowly transforming into curse power and accumulating in his body.
This surprised Ron, who had expected to be attacked when he touched the doorknob.
He had already made preparations and released all the energy within his body.
If anyone dares to attack him, he will immediately retaliate fiercely.
In this state, Ron can react quickly.
However, to everyone's surprise, that energy had no offensive power whatsoever; instead, it entered Ron's body and became a part of him.
"How are you feeling?"
Taiichiro looked at Ron with concern.
Ron shook his head.
"I don't feel anything unusual right now, except that there seems to be some extra energy in my body. This energy is different from the energy I used to circulate, but now it has been completely converted into spell power."
The cursed figure beside him could indeed sense that the power within Ron's body had become quite formidable, an energy that filled him with immense fear.
He took a small step back. Although he didn't know what had happened, the aura emanating from Ron filled him with fear.
Ron also noticed the subtle expression on the curse's face, he said.
What did you feel?
"The curse was spoken."
"You've become even more terrifying now; it seems like your body is filled with a powerful curse."
Ron tried circulating the magical power within his body, and he suddenly found that these powers seemed to have become very gentle.
With a thought from him, they all reacted swiftly; Ron could control them to make any operation they wanted.
The look of terror in the cursed eyes grew stronger.
He felt that Ron was now like a humanoid form of cursed power, constantly releasing cursed power.
He was like a small boat adrift on the vast ocean.
After Ron acquired such powerful magical abilities, he picked up the wooden box at his feet once more.
But suddenly he felt his power being able to pass through the wooden box and into it.
Although Ron doesn't know what's inside yet, he can already feel his power resonating with what's inside.
The feeling was amazing; Ron's vision instantly penetrated the wooden box, and he could clearly see the entire structure of the box.
The wooden box was exquisitely crafted and contained numerous mechanisms. Fortunately, they hadn't forced it open, otherwise it would have unleashed a powerful energy that would have completely destroyed its contents.
"I never imagined that the Lord's Curse had such a dense mind, capable of hiding such a precious thing in such an exquisite mechanism."
Taiichiro noticed the strange look in Ron's eyes and asked in surprise.
"what have you found?"
Ron said.
“I can already see what’s inside the wooden box, but it won’t be easy to get him to open it now. There are too many traps inside, and it will take some time to completely break them.”
Taichiro nodded and said.
"In that case, let's get started."
Taichiro then helped Ron, while Ron carefully pondered the meaning behind these mechanisms.
Curse, watching from the side, frowned deeply. The wooden box was about to be opened, and then the entire town would fall into Ron's hands, and Lord Curse might be killed by Ron.
But now he was given a choice: either stay with Ron or become one of Ron's dead.
After much deliberation, he decided to choose a safer approach: to proactively show goodwill to Ron. If Ron did take over the town, he would certainly not harm him again.
During his time with Ron, Curse had come to realize that Ron was a fairly humane person and would never easily turn against his companions.
So the curse quickly came to Ron, and he said...
“I think these results should be very close, but I’ve been studying those mechanisms before. If you can draw those mechanisms, maybe I can find a way to solve them.”
Ron glanced at the curse with some surprise, realizing he couldn't cause any trouble now.
So Ron took out a pen and paper and drew the mechanisms on them.
The curse noticed the mechanism and its brows furrowed deeply.
It was indeed a very complex mechanism, involving many things. If any one of the mechanisms malfunctioned, the entire mechanism would explode instantly, destroying everything inside the wooden box.
"The curse was spoken."
"This mechanism is very sophisticated, but I have a way to deal with it. However, you have to trust me now."
Ron said.
"If you want me to believe you, you have to show your sincerity."
"Curse," he thought for a moment and said.
"This mechanism is too intricate. If you touch one key point, the entire mechanism will be affected. So you have to trust me, or you will destroy the documents inside."
Ron stared intently at the curse, though he hadn't believed in it before, but now it was crucial.
After thinking for a moment, he finally nodded and said.
"In that case, it's up to you."
After saying that, he put the wooden box on the ground.
The curse came to the wooden box and began to operate the box according to the mechanism on the blueprint.
Ron noticed that he sometimes frowned and sometimes relaxed, seemingly stumped by the wooden box.
But a moment later, a smile finally appeared on his face, and with a crisp crack, a huge crack suddenly appeared in the entire wooden box.
Ron was taken aback. Had the wooden box activated its self-destruct mechanism?
He was about to step forward and snatch the wooden box when the curse suddenly reached out and opened it directly.
Several documents were prominently displayed inside.
"You finally opened it."
Ron stared at the curse in disbelief, never expecting it to help him at this crucial moment.
However, he quickly figured out the reason: perhaps the curse had already begun to choose its position.
Ron nodded slightly and spoke to the curse.
"You have indeed made a very correct decision."
After he finished speaking, he took out the documents from the wooden box and carefully read through them.
It indeed explained all the weaknesses of this town. In fact, this town is composed of a large number of magic arrays, which contain very powerful energy. That is why these curses can gain even greater power here.
It is because of these laws that this town has been able to survive to this day.
The document describes the core of this magic array.
Ron was somewhat surprised; he had no idea that this small town held so many secrets.
Ron soon discovered a very crucial point regarding these secrets.
The town is indeed just like the legend says, with a very huge gate.
The energy contained within this door is terrifying. Once this door is opened, all the creatures inside will rush out, causing a huge impact on the world.
This door is guarded by the town, so it will not be opened as long as the town's formation is not destroyed.
Ron looked up at the door not far away and finally understood. It really was just as the legend described; a great disaster was indeed hidden behind that door.
The cursed one noticed something was off about Ron's eyes and asked.
"In the end what happened?"
Ron said.
"This door seems to contain another world, and terrifying creatures. Once they break out, this world will face its end."
The curse immediately changed its expression.
"Could the legends be true?"
Ron nodded, but now that the door had appeared, did that mean he was about to be opened?
That door stood there all alone, looking so ordinary, yet the energy emanating from it was terrifying.
That was indeed an enormous amount of energy. Even though Ron had cultivated to the point where he possessed terrifying magical power, he still felt a sense of unease when facing that energy.
Taichiro said.
"What should we do? Should we bury this door back in the ground?"
Ron shook his head. Now that he had appeared, it proved that it was impossible to hide him by any other means.
The only thing we can do is prevent that door from opening.
"The curse was spoken."
