Chapter Thirty-Two: Dumbledore's Summoning
After calming himself down, Darren walked out of St. Mungo's.
As soon as I went outside, I saw Becky standing upright at the entrance of St. Mungo's.
His deep black hair fluttered in the wind, and from Darren's angle, it looked like a famous scene from a certain idol drama.
However, the female lead in the idol drama was not in a good mood at all.
She stood at the entrance to St. Mungo's, where people came and went, her brows furrowed tightly.
They would occasionally dodge one or two wizards who might have strange bloodlines, their faces showing disgust.
"You're finally out! If you hadn't come out soon, I might have had to go to the men's restroom to get you out!"
After dodging a guy covered in blood, Becky finally saw Darren and said with a sigh of relief.
If Darren doesn't come out soon, she'll probably have to run away from here.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
Darren said shyly.
He walked up to Becky and took the hem of her clothes.
Becky looked at his hand, snorted, raised her wand, and vanished instantly.
Diagon Alley is still as lively as ever.
There are people coming and going around.
After Darren was put down by Becky, Patchouli came to greet him.
He kept muttering to himself:
"Darren ran too fast. Patty came out of the bookstore and couldn't find Darren."
Finally, they had to go to Dumbledore. Mr. Dumbledore said that Master Darren was alright and told Patchouli to wait there...
"I'm sorry, Patchouli. I was too angry before, so... I'm sorry!"
He could imagine Patsy's anxiety.
House-elves are meant to serve their owners wholeheartedly.
Some of them will even punish themselves out of guilt after their owners disappear.
Darren had no choice; if Patchouli found out he was under a killing curse, she'd probably cause a huge scene today.
“Young Master Darren doesn’t need to apologize to Patty. Patty knows everything that Young Master Darren did.”
The little owner believes that all lives are equal, and that Patty is the same as him.
Patty was so touched; she cried for a long time.
No one would do so much for a house-elf like their little master did…
Patchi spoke with a mixture of pride and sadness in her aged voice.
Darren tried to comfort it, saying that all lives are equal, specifically referring to human beings.
He forgot to think about other races.
However, he felt that these words were a bit of a mood killer and did not fit his saintly image, so he refrained from speaking.
"By the way, Master Darren, Mr. Dumbledore wants you to go back to his office."
After crying for a while, Patty finally remembered what had happened.
Darren was startled.
The thought of the bloodline of Voldemort that he had just obtained today filled him with fear.
isn't it?
Is Old Deng really that well-informed?
He just got it!
Impossible, absolutely impossible!
It must be something else.
Did Professor Dumbledore say anything?
Darren asked tentatively.
Although she knew that even if Dumbledore discovered something, he wouldn't tell Patches, she still held onto a sliver of hope.
What if Dumbledore has lost his mind?
"Patchwork knew that Mr. Dumbledore wanted to see Master Darren in his office. Patty was worried that Mr. Dumbledore would hurt Master Darren, so she secretly listened for a while."
Ah this?
So cruel?
Did Dumbledore really not know that the house-elves were eavesdropping?
God!
Could this be another trap set by Dumbledore to test his honesty?
Darren felt his head starting to ache.
With such an unpredictable white wizard watching him, he didn't know whether it was a good thing or a bad thing.
Okay, that's really good.
If he were in mortal danger, Dumbledore would surely come to his rescue.
Moreover, it also allows you to increase the White Wizard's "Holy Father" rating, which is quite rewarding.
However, the downside is also obvious: he has to constantly guess what the white wizard is thinking.
However, this is not difficult. As long as he shows the white wizard his honest and kind qualities, that will be enough to deal with him.
Moreover, none of the things he does now are shameful.
Apart from Voldemort's bloodline.
However, this thing shouldn't be something that can be detected easily.
There's nothing seriously wrong.
With that thought, Darren felt relieved again.
Looking at Patchouli, he said seriously:
"Patch, you must stop eavesdropping on other people's conversations. It's impolite, it's wrong, it violates their privacy, and it betrays their trust, do you understand?"
This is not entirely about portraying a saintly figure.
The wizarding world is full of talented people, and he didn't believe that those famous wizards couldn't detect the house-elves eavesdropping.
This time it's Dumbledore.
Dumbledore didn't mind, and since it was also a test of his character, he didn't say anything.
If the next time they encounter a bad wizard who discovers Patches eavesdropping, they might just take care of her.
Darren had no intention of letting his house-elf die for this reason.
"Okay, Darren is always the best."
Patty nodded obediently.
He looked at Darren with even more admiration.
Darren is an upright, kind, and adorable young master. I believe that if he were to return to the old house, the Potter family's ancestors would also be pleased with him.
Who knows, young Master Darren might inherit the glory of the Potter family in the future!
I want to say something outrageous.
It was somewhat unwilling to become Harry's little master's house-elf; it only wanted to serve Darren and his children.
However, since Darren is not the eldest son of the Potter family, he may not be able to inherit the Potter family business.
It overheard this while eavesdropping on Mr. Dumbledore's conversation today.
Mr. Dumbledore assured another person that the Potter family would only be inherited by young master Harry.
Does this mean that young master Daleren has to be kicked out?
It didn't tell its young master Darren these things because it knew that even if it did, Darren wouldn't fight for them.
Darren is too kind; he definitely wouldn't want to do that kind of thing.
Patty should think of a solution herself.
Chapter Thirty-Three: Truth Potion
Darren had no idea that his Patty was thinking so much.
