These cats all have big pink bows around their necks.

If this were a young girl's room, perhaps Harry wouldn't find it so hard to accept.

But this is Umbridge's room.

The woman, who looked like a toad, was grinning at him.

In a sickeningly sweet voice, she said, "Oh, dear Harry, you've come! Come in quickly, I think our solitary confinement should begin!"

Then she pointed to the opposite side of her table.

There was a clean parchment and a quill pen on the table.

That quill pen looked sharp and thin, making it seem rather unique.

"Mr. Potter, in order to make you realize your lack of composure, I have prepared some small punishments."

"It's alright, your brother has already endured these minor punishments, and he appeared in the castle unharmed, didn't he?"

Umbridge smiled smugly. Harry clenched his fist.

He stared coldly at Umbridge.

If he could, he would have loved to tear Umbridge's face off. But he held back.

Because he had no choice but to endure it.

“Very well, Mr. Potter, it seems you have calmed down a bit. So, sit down, I need you to write a sentence… just write: I will never lie again.”

Umbridge said with a smile. Harry was momentarily puzzled.

Was Umbridge's punishment merely copying sentences? No, he believed it wouldn't be that simple.

really.

When he picked up the quill and started writing on the paper, he finally understood what kind of punishment this was.

The ink used to write this sentence was his blood.

And as he wrote with that quill pen, the sentence appeared on the back of his hand.

Drenched with blood.

But the wound that appeared when the words appeared quickly disappeared. Harry even wondered for a moment if it was a hallucination.

Because the wound felt smooth to the touch, it didn't look injured. He looked up uncertainly.

Umbridge was grinning at him.

She asked in a sweet, cloying voice, "What's wrong?"

Harry understood.

That wound was real.

Darren's pale appearance may be a result of suffering from this kind of torment—a torment that appears without visible wounds yet causes immense pain.

"nothing!"

Harry said coldly.

He continued writing on the paper.

He knew that what Umbridge needed was his weakness, his pleading. That would give her even more reason to mock Darren.

They mocked him. They mocked Dumbledore. He wrote it over and over again.

He didn't ask Umbridge when he could leave, nor did he stop writing; he knew he couldn't show weakness.

"come over!"

It was very late when Harry heard Umbridge calling him. He saw that the back of his hand was burning hot.

Some tender flesh was exposed at the site of the wound. Umbridge glanced at the back of his hand.

She said mockingly, "It wasn't that heavy. Darren was punished here for a whole afternoon. He's much tougher than you."

Harry remained silent. Umbridge gave him a cold look.

She scoffed and said, "Looks like the lesson wasn't profound enough. Well then, we'll continue tomorrow!"

Harry turned and walked away. He rushed out of Umbridge's office.

Just as I was about to find a place to apply ice to my wound, I saw Darren standing outside the Defense Against the Dark Arts office.

He was holding a bottle of wound medicine in his hand.

“I heard from Hermione and the others that you offended her, so you asked Madam Pomfrey for some medicine…”

[Ding, Father Value +100] Darren said in a low voice.

In the darkness, by the faint moonlight filtering through the window, he poured the medicine onto the back of Harry's hand.

"Use this, and you won't feel any pain anymore."

[Ding, Fatherhood Value +100]

Darren's voice was very low. Harry didn't even know if he was crying.

But probably not.

Darren hasn't cried in a long time.

He was no longer the first or second grader he used to be. His eyes were red, but no tears would fall. But Harry just wanted to cry.

His tears kept falling.

But he held back and didn't make a sound.

He didn't know why everything was different now. He could no longer use his reputation to offer Darren even the slightest help. Darren had to face everything on his own.

And now, his current identity has also implicated Darren, causing him to be slandered by the Daily Prophet, and he has to beg Umbridge just to avoid being punished by Umbridge.

"What other punishment did she use on you?"

Harry suddenly asked.

Darren was silent for a moment before saying 307: "I forgot, I agreed to let her delete my memories of being punished because she said she wouldn't let you off the hook if she didn't delete those memories."

[Ding, Holy Father Value +100] "I don't care."

Harry said.

He felt his voice might be a little soft, so he repeated it again.

"I don't care about being punished by her, I won't back down, so you're not allowed to beg her for my sake anymore. I won't give in to her like that!"

Harry said firmly. Darren laughed.

“Brother, it is your qualities that I admire that I did not pray to her this time.”

I've figured it out. Since things have already come to this, we can't let them laugh at us anymore!

[Ding, Fatherhood Value +100]

Darren certainly wouldn't be Harry's babysitter.

He just didn't want to attend Umbridge's class, so he ran away.

To avoid being accused of implicating Harry, he pretended to take the punishment for Harry and went into Umbridge's office.

"Well, what can I do? He's a little saint." Darren looked helpless.

He said with a sigh, "I believe in you, brother. You can definitely handle these things on your own. I was just worried and confused before. I will support whatever you want to do in the future!"

Chapter 536 I won't tell him!!

Harry was deeply moved.

He had assumed that Darren wouldn't let him fight Umbridge.

Because Darren has always respected the professor, or perhaps he was worried about him, it's not that he felt bad.

But all he ever thought about was protecting Darren, not having Darren protect his brother.

Not to mention, look at how Darren got hurt because of him. So, he thought Darren would object.

He even came up with many things to say against Darren.

But when he heard Darren tell him to go all out, all he had left were bloodshot eyes.

He understood; Darren always understood him. Truly, he was his brother!

Harry didn't tell anyone except Darren about the abuse he suffered in Umbridge's office.

He believed that if he told others how Umbridge treated him, it would be as if he had given in to Umbridge.

So he would always pretend nothing had happened and go back.

If Ron or Hermione asked him, he would just say he was copying sentences.

He believed that his fight with Umbridge was a struggle, a fight in which neither side was willing to back down.
