He put the sword and the sorting hat into the vault and kept them safe.

But if you ask me, they're absolutely insane. I've seen it; that sword is definitely fake, a later imitation. The real sword is gone.

"Did you tell the Death Eaters about this?"

"Of course not, they're already busy enough, why would we bother them?"

Ted and the others burst into loud laughter.

"Oh, right, I remember you said the Weasley kids were involved too. How are they doing?"

"Well, even though Darren Porter threw them out, it's still easy for them to cause trouble."

So Snape gave them a random excuse and punished them by making them stay with Hagrid and take care of his animals.

Their voices lowered.

Suddenly, Pull-ring asked, "So, you believe in Harry Potter?"

"Yes, after all, Darren Porter trusted him so much... I think, Darren has suffered so much, yet he still dares to fight back, we can't stop here!"

"Yes, no matter what, our lives have definitely been disrupted, haven't they?"

"It's really not easy to help a boy who has disappeared from the earth."

He hid so well that he didn't even show up when Darren Porter was arrested. Sometimes I worried that he might have run away.

All voices fell silent.

Harry lowered his retractable ears... He looked at Hermione.

“Darren…Ginny…”

Hermione ignored him.

She seemed to have remembered something.

She quickly pulled a picture frame out of her small bag.

It is a portrait of Phineas of the Black family.

Harry was stunned.

Why did you bring it with you?

Hermione scratched her head and said, "Darren made me bring it. He didn't say anything at the time, but now I think I understand. He wanted to communicate with us through Phineas..."

Perhaps his return to Hogwarts was also part of his own calculations.

Hermione said excitedly.

Harry didn't quite understand.

But he knew that he could indeed ask Phineas.

Because Phineas's portrait is right next to the Sorting Hat and the sword, he would know if someone stole anything.

Unless he's asleep.

But Hermione didn't believe he was asleep.

She looked at the portrait and called out softly, "Principal Phineas, Mr. Phineas, Mr. Black, are you there?"

"Could you come out and say something? We need to speak with you!"

But nothing happened.

Just as Harry and the others were about to give up, Hermione suddenly called out, "Sir, please come out for a moment!"

"Please" is still useful; I hope you will remember it in the future...

Phineas slipped into the portrait.

Hermione quickly pointed to the portrait and said, "Cover your eyes!"

Phineas's eyes were covered with a black cloth.

He shouted loudly:

"What are you doing! This is disrespectful! I'm leaving! You... get out of here! You are insulting a great man!"

"I'm sorry, we just want to ask you a few questions!"

Harry quickly said.

Phineas stopped struggling.

"Could it be that you are the great fugitive Harry Potter?"

Harry knew he could keep Mr. Phineas interested.

So he quickly asked, "I wanted to ask you about the sword and the Sorting Hat... How's my brother Darren?"

"I must say, Darren Porter is always so cautious. He's wise; all he needs to do is get the Sorting Hat. But that girl is such an idiot..."

"Don't talk about my sister like that!"

"Ron shouted."

"Who is this? I don't know anyone like this at all!"

Phineas raised his noble chin…

Chapter 704 Then get out of here!!

"Never mind who he is, just tell me what happened..."

"Scene? What's there to say about that?"

They came in to steal, were discovered by the owner, and were punished by the owner. Isn't that a normal thing?

Phineas said with disdain.

"That's not Snape's stuff!"

“But those are things from Snape’s school. He has the right to punish them. If I were the headmaster, I would hang them up with ropes!”

"It's a pity you're dead!"

Harry said indifferently.

"That's rude! That's going too far! I'm leaving!"

Phineas shouted.

Hermione quickly chimed in, trying to ingratiate herself, "Do you remember what Darren said when he took the Sorting Hat?"

Phineas stopped struggling.

He said with a mixture of arrogance and hesitation, "Logically speaking, we shouldn't be doing things like relaying messages, but I really like this child..."

Furthermore, the current principal hasn't forbidden me from saying these things.

And since you're so polite, then I can only tell you...

When Darren Porter was holding the Sorting Hat, he made a gesture of praying while wearing the hat.

Then a sword fell out of the hat, and he put something highly poisonous on it... I suspect he was trying to kill someone...

Hermione's breathing quickened.

"I see! Did you tell Professor Snape about this?"

Phineas sneered.

"We only need to speak when the headmaster asks us questions. Clearly, Headmaster Snape is a man of few words..."

Alright, I'm leaving! You bunch of rude jerks!

Phineas finally found an exit.

He left the portrait.

Only a blank portrait remained.

Harry stared at the empty portrait.

Joy appeared on his face.

"I understand now. Darren wasn't trying to steal the sword at all. He knew he couldn't steal it; he doesn't have magic, and neither can Ginny and the others..."

So he was just pretending to steal the sword; his purpose was to get Phineas to tell us.

Gryffindor's sword can be drawn from the Sorting Hat, and he even put a deadly poison on it...

"That way, we can destroy the Horcruxes with Gryffindor's sword!"

"But now, the Sorting Hat is in Gringotts. Does Darren want us to rob Gringotts?"

Hermione said uneasily.

Harry fell silent.

He remembered that when he first entered the magical world, Hagrid told him that Gringotts was under the strictest guard and that it was irrational for anyone to try to steal anything.
