Upon hearing this, the people present became serious.

I knew this would be a crucial clue.

"Who is that novelist?"

"Takei Ryu said with a serious expression."

"Horinouchi Keio".

"what?"

Akiko instinctively exclaimed, quickly pulling a novel from her bag in response to their questioning gazes. "Isn't that the author of this novel?" Kujo Aya stepped forward, took the novel from her, and flipped through the synopsis. The synopsis featured a photo of the author and a little girl. "It's him...this girl..."

“My beloved daughter…Rikako.”

Kujo Aya read out the description under the photo.

"Rikako?"

Akiko felt the name sounded familiar, and her gaze lingered on the photo for a moment.

Then she realized and said, "Ah! The little girl in the photo is the one named Riko who came to ask me to retrieve the doll this morning."

“Perhaps the doll hybrid is this little girl,” Terui Ryu guessed.

"Eh?"

Akiko paused for a moment, then quickly shook her head in denial, "How could that be? A child that young could not possibly use the Gaia Memory."

Philip began by saying:

"It is possible."

Gaia Memory is not sold to minors simply because children's bodies are not as well-suited to adapting to toxins and controlling power as adults.

There are also reasons related to morality.

Not because children cannot use it.

“It is indeed possible for a child to use the memory, but I think it is more likely that the person using the memory is Horinouchi,” Kujo Aya said.

"You mean, Dad used his memory on his daughter? How could this be..." Akiko said in disbelief, but quickly recovered. "If that's the case, we need to rescue Riko as soon as possible."

"Huh? Who is Riko?" Shotaro Sato, who had just returned to Narumi's office, looked completely bewildered.

"It's not important. Come on, let's go find Hori no Nakamaru!" Akiko invited, and without waiting for Shotaro's reply, she pushed him aside and walked out of the office, with Ryu Terui and Aya Kujo following closely behind.

"Hey, who's Horinouchi?"

Shotaro watched the three figures leave speechlessly, "I just got back..." He then sighed and went with them to investigate.

......

Soon after, the four arrived at the autograph session that Horinouchi was holding. Shotaro Hidari went to investigate the surrounding area first, while Akiko, Aya Kujo, and Ryu Terui went into the bookstore to look at Horinouchi, who was sitting on a stool not far away with a kind and amiable expression.

“He seems very sincere, and we actually have no evidence to suggest that Horiuchi is the culprit.” Akiko stared at the man’s face, her voice rising with agitation. “But what if it’s not him?!”

"Put it on me."

After speaking in a deep voice, Zhaojinglong walked straight forward and pushed aside the person standing at the front.

He then said with a mocking look to Horiuchi, who was signing autographs, "A cheap tearjerker story based on your own daughter, how could you possibly write one?"

"What are you doing?" Horinouchi looked up in confusion at the stranger who had suddenly appeared and spoken to him in a very disrespectful manner.

Terui Ryu did not answer, but continued:

"You don't love your daughter at all."

Not a question, but a statement.

Akiko followed closely behind, glaring angrily at Horinouchi, while Kujo Aya carefully observed Horinouchi's expression.

"Who are you?"

Hori asked in a deep voice.

Terui Ryu pulled out his police ID from his pocket, unfolded it, and handed it to him.

"Oh, they're police officers."

Horiuchi suddenly realized, his expression calm.

The proof of Zhao Jinglong's identity immediately sparked a flurry of discussion among the book fans queuing behind him.

It concerns Horiuchi and his book.

It's been quite lively in Fengdu lately.

I just didn't expect it...

Even the police got involved.

Terujiro remained noncommittal, slowly putting away his police badge, and loudly proclaimed, "If anyone says your book is bad, you order your daughter to kill Fang 644." He paused, turned around, and looked at the astonished onlookers, saying, "Isn't the rumor about 60 quite terrifying?"

Seeing that the situation was not right, Horiuchi quickly stood up and walked to his side to stop him from talking about the terrible rumors, his attitude humble and gentle.

"No way, how could that be? I'm already grateful for all the valuable feedback from our readers."

"I see." Terui Ryu smiled noncommittally, then turned and left without saying another word.

"Goodbye." Akiko glared at Horiuchi and swaggered away.

The two met up with Aya Kujo and Shotaro Hidari and walked into the park, leaving the autograph session.

Akiko then voiced the question that had been bothering her: "What were you doing just now?"

“Wait for him to take the bait.” Teruji Ryu said in a deep voice, “What I just said to him was also said by the four people who were attacked by the puppets. He will definitely not be able to hold back.”

Akiko heard this.

It dawned on me.

"I see, you were deliberately provoking the other party."

"Big sister." A child's ethereal voice suddenly reached Akiko's ears.

She stopped in her tracks instinctively.

"Big sister, listen to the doll's voice." That voice sounds so familiar, it's Riko!

Thinking of this, she quickly turned her head to look around, but she couldn't see anyone.

Was she hallucinating?

Just as she was racking her brains trying to figure it out, her gaze fell on a bench where a little girl doll wearing a blue hat was sitting.

She was startled, and before Akiko could make any move, the doll suddenly started moving.

He leaped into the air and pounced on her face!

"Ah!" Akiko cried out in surprise, trying to dodge, but her reaction was not fast enough.

Seeing the danger approaching, Shotaro from behind strode forward and grabbed her arm, helping her dodge the doll's attack.

Akiko, still shaken, stared at the motionless doll suspended in mid-air. Terui Ryu said coldly:

"Doll hybrid".

"The retaliation came really fast." Kujo Aya looked around and said. They had all thought that it would be at least a while before Horiuchi would make a move against them, but they had just left the autograph session.

Retaliation followed.

"Officer Kujo, I'm leaving Akiko in your care." Shotaro pushed Akiko next to Aya Kujo and then took out his memory device.

Like Terui Ryu, a belt appeared around his waist, along with the W Driver and Accel Driver!

"I can do it myself."

"That's what Terujiro said."

He took out the accelerator memory.

【ACCEL!】

(accelerate!)

He then shouted:

"Hen-shin!" (Transformation!)

A dazzling red light flashed, and when the light faded, Kamen Rider Police appeared once again.

As soon as Terui Ryu finished transforming, the doll pounced at him with great speed. Before Terui Ryu could make a move, Shotaro Hidari, who had somehow transformed at some point, suddenly appeared in front of him and kicked the doll away.

"As a detective, I can't allow the police to steal all the limelight."

"Shotaro turned his head and said, then pressed his attack like the wind, charging towards the doll."

"Police tea..."

Teruji shook his head. What an idiot.

Hasn't he realized he's already Lu Chen's woman?

He then charged forward, wielding the engine blade.

Faced with the combined attack of two Kamen Riders, especially since 423 was using T2-level memories, the doll was no match at all.
