Chapter 1020 388: Human Civilization Museum
Chapter 1020 388: Human Civilization Museum
"...""This is a core member of the Constant Star Train, named Biaozi. After an intense battle, his mecha completely shattered and was deliberately preserved to commemorate Biaozi's bravery."
"That one over there is the 'Goblin Train,' which was destroyed during the Constant Star Train's first encounter with the Goblin Race. This event marked the beginning of our intertwining destinies, and now the Goblin Race holds the highest status among the alien civilizations within Human Civilization, deeply trusted by humanity."
"And there's this one..."
...
This magnificent and grand museum is bustling with activity, attracting a large number of alien tourists for visits.
"Sigh..."
Biaozi and Old Pig stand in a room of the museum, overlooking the crowd below. They exchange a glance and see the mirth in each other's eyes, knowing since Master Mang intended to open this museum to the public.
They hatched a little plan of their own.
Who doesn't want to be remembered through the ages? Who doesn't want their name and courageous deeds to be known by all?
So...
They entertained Doba with several rounds of drinks, eventually leaving their mark within the museum.
For instance, Biaozi, that piece of mecha previously showcased inside the train, was moved into the museum by him. Every guide's introduction makes him secretly delighted.
As for Old Pig.
He had nothing tangible to place in the museum. After all, his achievements were invisible, not something that could be easily displayed. If he were dead, that would be simpler.
Just hang up a photo, and write down his accomplishments.
But he isn't dead.
Then...
He crafted two statues, one of Master Mang placed at the entrance of the 'museum,' with a single hand leaning on a cane gazing into the distance, his cloudy pupils seemingly filled with concern for the world.
The other statue is of him, standing behind Master Mang.
The base below the statue is inscribed with his name and achievements.
He thought his suggestion was simply perfect.
But perhaps it was too perfect.
Everyone wanted to add themselves.
Thus—
Now several statues stand at the museum entrance, with Master Mang at the forefront, and behind him are Old Pig, Biaozi, Doba, Mr. Li, et cetera... making it exceptionally lively. Each base below proudly displays the positions held during their time on the train.
The one with the most positions turns out to be Mr. Li.
"Once served as Breeding Carriage Captain, Neon City Accountant, train resource expenditure receiver, and so on, currently the Dean of Human University."
A long list of positions that's quite overwhelming to take in.
"Everything seems to have fallen into place."
"I seem to have reached a good ending too."
Old Pig reflects as he gazes at the endless stream of people below. Now the "Human Civilization" has become the most powerful civilization in the cosmos, with numerous Divine-level civilizations increasingly connecting with Ninth-level civilizations, and from there to the Eighth-level civilizations.
Layer upon layer.
Every day, countless civilizations join Human Civilization, and it won't be long before the cosmic unity is truly achieved.
Whereas he.
From the initial Deputy Train Captain position to the nearing end of the story, he remains as Deputy Train Captain, with no change in position, neither promoted nor demoted.
Promotion is certainly out of the question.
To move up would mean taking Master Mang's place.
He's quite satisfied that he hasn't been demoted; at least Master Mang still recognizes his work.
"Soon, the young master should be born, right?"
Biaozi says with a smile, "I've noticed in recent days, Master Mang frequently visits Fang. He has a deep affection for that child. When the young master is born, he will surely be the center of adoration."
"Indeed."
Old Pig can't help but laugh out loud, "Birth is an art, and I wonder who ended up in Fang's womb, born with things others could never have in their entire lifetime."
"Perhaps it's Master Kun reincarnated."
"..."
Old Pig's mouth twitches slightly at the words, turning to Biaozi, "That joke is a bit too dark; if Master Mang hears it, he'd definitely twist your head off then and there."
Biaozi realizes his mistake, shrinking his neck, and says no more on the matter.
They never referred to Ji Chuchu and Yan Yao as sisters-in-law because they knew these two were never truly Master Mang's women.
But still...
No one expected Fang to ultimately rise to the top.
A maid of Master Mang, responsible for tidying up his daily affairs, surprisingly turns into Fang, leaving both of them to marvel at how simple it is for women to ascend.
Most importantly.
Gave birth to a son.
That's a guaranteed first heir, bringing forth a flood of wealth that's impossible to fend off.
After Biaozi made the dark joke, both men grew silent.
Old Pig finally speaks up: "Given the existence of the Second Cosmos, Master Mang didn't know anything about it when he killed Master Kun; Master Kun's soul was intact. Perhaps Master Kun still survives in the Second Cosmos. Maybe we should go to the Second Cosmos now and finish off Master Kun?"
"If he really reincarnated, that would be a disaster."
Though it's just a dark joke.
Old Pig ponders for a moment, realizing that if this really occurred, it would be a significant issue...
"Shouldn't be."
Biaozi hesitates, "I was just saying it randomly; the Cosmic Rules state there's no reincarnation setup. Reincarnation is just a folk saying; every new life is brand new, without any past or future."
"That's reassuring."
The two exchange a glance and say no more on the matter, continuing their casual chat as they sip tea and gaze at the lively crowd below.
...
Meanwhile, in another room.
Doba, Mondo, and the former goblin pirate leader Pulupulu gather in this room, gazing at this iconic human civilization building crafted by the Goblin Race with pride and a sense of accomplishment brimming within.
"Time flies!"
Pulupulu muses, "It's only been over a decade and Human Civilization has reached this point. I recall meeting Master Mang for the first time when I was just a carefree and untroubled pirate."
"Being a pirate is that joyful?"
"Sort of, but there weren't any comrades at the time, so sometimes there's a sense of loneliness. Otherwise, it was quite joyful."
Doba says nothing further, simply smiling as he watches below, his thoughts drifting back to his first encounter with Master Mang when he drove the Goblin Train deep underground, accidentally colliding with the 'Doomsday Abyss' and the Master Mang train.
Before that.
He didn't know how long it took to craft a Goblin Train that belonged solely to him in that dark space.
He didn't know why at the time, but he particularly trusted Master Mang, believing this human was different from others, possessing a unique, irresistible charm.
Turns out.
Master Mang was indeed different from other humans.
The Goblin Race thus rose to prominence.
Even becoming the highest status alien civilization in the cosmos.
